@john smith, not sure what planet you've been living on for the last several decades but shaved/trimmed pubes have been common in the military for a while--just like shaved heads, a lot less maintenance especially when you're deployed and sweating a lot and don't have regular access to showers.
@John, not all the guys are military but some clearly are--e.g., it's very unlikely that guys would get USMC, USMC shield, or bulldog tats without having served in the Corps, not least because men who have served would likely beat the crap out of them if they couldn't provide their unit bona fides to back up the ink. Just like you shouldn't get gang tats if you're not really in the gang.
