He didn't disappoint, for him he met expectations. Which sadly isn't very high. I should probably stop bashing this guy, but he really gets under my skin.

okay...i am no psychologist, but this guy obviously needs therapy. Let's assume that most of what he says is a LIE--the fact that someone would write so casually about unprotected sex and BRAG about sexual exploits like this indicates-at best-low self-esteem and-at worst-some serious mental issues.

Assuming that what he says is true, he either needs to be counseled on the possible repercussions of his unsafe sex practices and/or provided with some therapy to try and help him come to terms with that might be driving some of his dangeorus and harmful behavior.

Is this sort of over-the-top behavior "typical" for porn stars? I have heard that most of them are damaged in some way...hence the need for constant validation. Either way, it is incredibly sad that an adult would behave this way...and he seems to think it's "cute" in this sort of wink-wink manner where we're supposed to find all of it adorably charming and humorous.

As much as I enjoy Mason Wyler, I have to wonder: Just how messed up is this guy?

I think he is just trying to apologize to his fans. He obviously cares about them enough to refund their money and take full responsibility for his actions. Give him a break!

You guys probably believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Bible, and Reality TV, too. I know Mason, and I highly doubt all of this is true. The guy enjoys writing, and writers tend to embellish the truth or write things that are outright fictitious. Also, he makes a living off of being sexual and fulfilling people's fantasies. Even if you judge the "actions" he supposedly took, I bet reading about it gave you wood, and if so, Mason did his job.

And Donnie, leave the psychobabble to people who are actually educated and licenced psychotherapists. Just because someone enjoys sex or enjoys talking about their sexual exploits or fantasies does not mean they need therapy. And may I remind you, lots of people think Homosexuals need help and therapy.

I also think it's hysterical that you guys will judge Mason and think you're better than him but will beat off to his videos. Get a life.

I think what Mason does is AMAZING there is no other Porn Stars out there who are letting people into there slutty side and giving out info like Mason does, if he wants to be the way he is dont try and change him cause hes being who he is and doing want he wants! hey i still back up mason 100% he's still one of my fav porn stars out of everyone else. u don't see any other celebrity trying to make contact with their fans like he did. all that matters is that he tried to do something.also the stuff he writes maybe u should get to noe him maybe he just writes those things for entertainment I don't think he needs help at all. just let him be reallly. mason is still number one and will always be .

Mason Wyler? Messed up?

He consistently writes on his blog about how he CHOOSES to take the risks that he takes and understands the potential issues his choices can become. While I necessarily wouldn't make the same choices myself, they are his choices to take and not ours.

As for this is not the way for an adult to behave, I'm not sure if it's just me and my friends, but many people I know have made risky choices in their sexual exploits. Whether he decides to put them up on his blog is his choice, and he explains in nearly every posting that he doesn't condone the behavior.

Give me a break, Mason apologized and is going to refund the money. What's the issue? Get off your high horses and quit passing judgment. Worry about your own sex life (if any at all).

Ok, let me just interject here before this gets any more out of hand. As someone who actually *knows* the guy, yes, he can be sarcastic, and yes, that often manifests itself in responses that may paint him in a less than ideal light to those whose tastes run more mainstream and conservative, but I can tell you this for sure.

Fact: yes his bf's family moved in with them, and yes, paypal did freeze his account making it that much harder for him to deal with the financial aspect of all of this. He does *not* however engage in reckless unprotected sex as he'd have you believe from his posts.

You have to consider that, like all things, it usually boils down to business, and especially in his field, as saturated as it is, he probably often feels the need to stand out from the crowd. Whether or not you agree with his methods (and I've had many a conversation playing devil's advocate with respect to the flack he better be prepared to receive if he's going to post such salacious material) the fact of the matter is, he has a bf he's totally committed to, and all of this is merely to keep his fanbase anticipating the next "adventure". Most of them realize this and are fine with it. Even I was initially dubious as to the wisdom in his methods but again, I know him, and he knows better than to be foolish enough to *be* the Mason Wyler that you read about on his blog.
Think of it in terms of wrestling fans. Most of them (hopefully) by now understand that it's all manufactured fantasy, and yet they still don't care and keep coming back for more. They enjoy the fantasy without succumbing to the actual belief that these people are really the amped-up cartoons they portray on TV.
And finally, consider this, if he really was as extreme as some people think, wouldn't he take the ultimate step and just say, to hell with it, and start producing straight-up bareback films? Anyone familiar with his actual product knows he doesn't put his admittedly explicit stories into real practice.
So the reality is, it was practical issues that contributed to the "disappointment" as it's been labeled, and *not*, because he was too busy being a whore. Again, I know him, and as is often the case, the truth is way more banal than impression, simple as that.
Sorry to be such a downer to those who were wishing otherwise. He's actually a nice, intelligent, relatively boring guy. Ok he's gonna kill me for that last bit :-1

Give the guy a break. He could have said nothing but instead he issues an apology. Whether you like him or not, there is a difference between reality and fantasy and its meeting the needs of some. So if you don't like it, don't bash, and move on to something you do like.

1 QUESTION: Why is it disturbing for one person to do and say all the things Mason Wyler does, but it isn't disturbing for dozens of other people to sympathise with it, to get turned on by it, and to pay for it?

i read masons blog all the time and the more and more i read and hear about this guy i hope its not true but he does seem to be a lil out there like he jus may not be all the way there in the head.its shitty what he did to the pple who did give him money so hopefully pple learn and he ever ask again just DONT DO IT!

OK everyone. Let's face it. The man is a model. He's not a business man. If he wants to run a business then he needs to get his act together if people are to trust him with their money.

Mason can type all the slutty messages he thinks his fans want to hear, but he sure seems hellbent to turn off anyone who happens upon his site.

Best of luck to the future of the site, but let someone else be in charge of the "behind the scenes".
