QC fave, RJ Danvers just finished the final for his Life Drawing class and he posted his artworks from this semester at his blog. His final (the picture at the bottom) was a 30×40 inch self portrait. We’ve reassembled them above in semi-chronological order so you can see his drawing style develop.
“Despite the professor telling me during the critique that my final self portrait was a bit on the ‘raunchy side’,” Danvers said, “I still ended up with a B in the course which I’m really happy with.” Err… doesn’t his professor know he’s a power bottom?
What do you think? His two facial self-portraits make him look a bit on the child-porn side and the models look kinda frumpy, but we’re happy with his final as well. And he’s an A+ guy in our books, but what grade would you give his drawings. We’re sure he’d love to hear your thoughts and encouragement!
