Ask QC: Is Penile Enlargement Safe?
Hey Ask QC,
I have a feeling I know what everyone's gonna say when I ask my question, but I'd like you guys to hear me out. I have a three-inch dick. It's not very thick or tall, it's just small and I've been reading about penile enlargement surgery as a possibility. I want to hear from someone who's actually done it—not from guys who have "a friend who did it" but from anyone with actual firsthand experience.
The surgery websites all seem to have positive glowing reviews, but that's just marketing, and the web's also filled with horror stories, so I'm not sure what to believe. I know that unnecessary surgery can mess up an otherwise fully functional penis and that not all guys who have the surgery are entirely happy about it. Lemme be clear—I haven't made my decision yet. But I'd love to hear from someone who knows. How long was your penis before and after? How long did it take to recover? Were you happy with the results? Have there been any complications? How's the sex now?
I know a lot of people are prolly gonna read this and say, "You need to accept yourself as you are, learn to love yourself, blah, blah, blah." But for one, I'm a pretty upbeat guy with good esteem who just wants to know more about his options. Second, most people who deliver that "love yourself" stuff are bigger than three inches. Lastly, I'm asking for info, I'm not asking whether or not I should have the surgery—I'll make that decision myself.
Can't wait to hear back from you guys
Denis
Denis wants a bigger penis, but doesn't know what penile enlargement is really like. With all the pills, pumps, and penile surgeries available, the search for a bigger prick can seem daunting. He seems wary of being preached to but has anyone tried these methods and are they worth it? Please share any advice and experiences that might help in the comments section.

There's nothing currently physically and medically (incl. implants, pills, vacuum pumps) to make your penis bigger. Sure, trimming your pubes may make it look slightly bigger but it only seems that way.
Learn to be a better bottom by doing kelg exercises. Practice on sex toys, fruits/veggies, or even with the real thing by giving better head. When God gives you a smaller penis, it's time to get rid of that gag reflex and become a power bottom.
The common surgery for penile enlargement I guess you're referring to is where they sever (cut) the ligaments at between the base of the penis to allow it to hang lower. This is supplemented with collagen injections to 'plump out' the penis. Sorry but I havent had this done, although I understand its a now relatively common place procedure, although I also understand there are mixed results too.
Denis are you aware that there are a lot of guys out there who love small cocks? I do for starters, but I know that not everyone is a size queen!
@hitch, yes there was a question asked here before, not specifically about surgery but it was to do with small dicks. It should be here in the archives somewhere....
Denis you may want to read this previous Ask QC before you consider surgery?
Ask QC: Is My Cock Too Small?
Your concern is common among men. For some, it is a "phase" they go through. After a few relationships, they learn the people who are genuinely interested in you won't care about minor imperfections.
There are a few things to consider before taking the leap with plastic surgery:
Penile enlargement is expensive, and as with most plastic surgery, the results are often too unsatisfactory.
Generally, when dating, the more mature individuals want to be with the person their with because they genuinely like them, rather then what they have. Otherwise, those people are awful partners when their interests only comes to being limited to your looks, status, and wealth.
It can be a turn off to date someone with insecurities, rather then a small penis. You can compensate in bed for physical limitations, and partners who are really invested in the relationship will be patient to find out what works and what doesn't. Each relationship is different, and part of the fun/adventure is to find what works between you and your partner. You'll soon find that variety in bed is the spice of life and just having a small/big penis alone won't always do the trick regardless of its size.
Also, the largest world record holder of penis size, has a difficult time keeping relationships. And this is his number one complaint when asked. Granted, tons of sex, but that doesn't really make a relationship, and he desire this above all. And his identity is only limited to the size of his dick; so its mostly his fault because people use him for only the purpose of utilizing his big penis. No one sticks around after they find the nostalgia wears off in bed. The guy is kind of a loser if you ask me, partly because no one wants to be with him.
Ask any of those performers in porn and they tell you sexually they maybe satisfied but relationship wise it is frustrating to find a partner that wants to stick around.
Dennis, is your 3 inches soft or hard?
I have had several different types of elective, cosmetic surgery, not on the peen,,but my eyelids,,some facial lasering and some lipo...these were not necessary or vital but i felt them to be helpful in my self condidence...Let me also say that ANY surgery comes with risk,,even though my eyes look good i still have white scars in the folds of my lids,,i have discoloration on my forehead and neck as a result of the laser and because of my lipo on my chest,,sure i have chiseled pecs but the sensation is gone from my nipples,,,,what i am trying to say is,,there is always a risk and a trade off for something you want,,your penis is NOT something to gamble,,if your dick works,,leave it the hell alone,,we all come in various shapes and sizes,,dont risk something so important to you just for an extra inch,,which i guarantee is only for your satisfaction and not for others,,if its not broke, dont fix it.
If you want to do it, and it will make you feel better, and you can afford it, and you are convinced the surgery will give you the desired results, then you should do it.
I haven't had penile enlargement surgery, but I have surgery on my penis to increase my happiness with its appearance and function, which is more than I think any of the other commenters can say so far.
I had a mild case of hypospadias; basically, the urethra didn't exit my penis at the tip, but where the frenulum should've been, and my foreskin was non-existent on the bottom and looked like a hood or a cobra's sheath. Like your small penis, it worked fine. I got hard, was able to enjoy the sensation, and shoot semen (though it shot out at a weird angle).
Getting it fixed meant surgery which has its own problems and risks, a long period with my penis uncomfortably tightly wrapped in bandage with a catheter in place, and the circumcision of my foreskin. Do I regret doing it? Absolutely not! I was never too fixated on it, and it didn't affect my self esteem or body image too much, but I never was really pleased with "what God gave me". So with some renowned surgeons, I got it fixed, and now I have a "normal" penis, which I think is all anyone can rightfully hope for.
Whether or not you do it is up to you. You need to carefully weigh all the pros and cons and all the risks before doing anything. And once you've decided it something you'd like to invest in investigating, because even though you may have insurance, those doctor visits might not be covered or totally covered; there's also a sort of gray area when it comes to penile surgery -- what's medically necessary and what's not? Function and appearance do make a difference when it comes to the penis, and I know that under 4 inches is termed "micropenis", so maybe your insurance might pleasantly surprise you and cover some if not all of it, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Do some research on doctors on the web, see what their patients have to say, and go visit them. Some may need referrals, but you can probably get that from your GP. Ask about their success rates, how many times they've done this procedure, how many patients do they see en total for surgery a year, how many of them have problems, what the recovery is going to be like, and what kind of results can you expect. If they have photos great, but not all do. And not all have photos of the penises they fix erect, but that's more of a patient privacy issue so some don't ask the patient to take them. Write it all down, and compare notes with other surgeons.
Do your homework, and I'm sure you'll come to the right decision. You might find that this procedure isn't very well developed or practiced in modern medicine, and it might be worth going to a more notable specialist out of your area or waiting a few years. Good luck, but as long as you're patient and willing to objectively weigh al your options, I'm sure you won't need it.
I'm a masseuse and give naked men free massages. Over the years I have seen about everything, including 9 different men who have had penile enlargement surgeries.
It is obvious on every one for several reasons. On some the shaft was plumped up so wide (and lumpy) that the head looks like an afterthought. The head is small and tiny even while erect with a huge ugly misshapen shaft. The suspensary ligament is cut making the penis hang unnaturaly in an erect state...in other words, it's hard but it doesn't look like it since it's pointing downish. All of them had unnatural looking shafts and when you touch it, it's not smooth under the skin where the substance was injected...you can feel and see the lumps and bumps under the skin in both the erect and the flaccid state.
None of the nine cocks that had penile enlargement were attractive to me, in fact just the opposite, they were quite gross and unnatural looking. None of them were a large size. It was a shame since a few of the men were absolutely gorgeous otherwise. I always ask the men and they have admitted to me that they had it done. They were ALL (all 9) unhappy with the results and two were actually rendered impotent.
I hope this helps you. I don't mind a small cock personally but I'm posting this not because of that, even though these men had small cocks they were ruined with this type of surgery that you're considering. I have never personally seen one where the outcome was anything beneficial and I've seen a lot of cock in my day.
Of course I'm not a doctor so I can't give medical advice, I can only tell you what I've seen with my own eyes.
Kind regards.
You might like to consider change your diet. Mash potato only diet with a 3" cock is definitely going to highligh your shortcoming. On the other hand, if you learn to eat more rice, 3" is fairly average! The only thing to bear in mind, most of those who enjoys a diet rich in potato tends to be szie queen !
