Wilfried Knight is a man who is blessed with stunning beauty. Whether he’s modeling clothing, or maybe even his appearance way back in Madonna’s “Sorry” video, or now in his latest videos for Raging Stallion, we’ve always been impressed with how well he pushes the right buttons. Voted the hottest porn star in 2005, there’s no doubt Wilfried continues to set screens and sexual imaginations on fire. However, in the past couple years, Wilfried seems wiser and more in-tune with himself than ever. Grateful for every experience, he’s taking what’s he’s learned and enjoying every decision he makes.
We were excited to talk to him for a little bit and discover a wonderful surprise: Wilfried Knight is stunning on the outside, but is equally as fascinating and beautiful on the inside too. He’s a real man, who’s refreshingly intelligent and absolutely thoughtful.

Hey Wilfried, thanks for agreeing to talk to us for a little bit. We’re huge fans of your work. Are you in southern California filming?
Wilfried:
You’re welcome and I am happy to talk to you. No, I am not filming anything while I am here, I actually have been relaxing in Venice, California and just spent my day building a sandcastle!

Wait a minute! You built a sandcastle? That’s fantastic! It would be my lucky day, if I spied a hot guy like you building a sandcastle out on the beach. That’s so wonderfully sexy. I love it!
Wilfried:
Yeah, I have been just hanging out. I love the gypsy-feeling in Venice. And I did spend the whole day build a massive sandcastle with my bare hands. I get bored easily on the beach, so it seemed like the perfect distraction for me… to keep creative and active on the beach. Much better than just laying there, sunning myself.

QueerClick:
So, I have been a big fan of your films with Lucas Entertainment. They’re so good, but I was also really excited to hear you’ve started working with Raging Stallion. You’re first film with Raging Stallion Focus/ReFocus is coming out soon. What can we look forward to?

Wilfried:
I had a blast on my first Raging Stallion movie! The set was amazing, the crew was so professional and couldn’t be easier to work with and the cast… well, was obviously super hot. You can look forward to a great scene with me and Steve Cruz, which has been a fantasy of mine for a long time. And then one with Francesco D’Macho topping me by a fireplace. This scene ended up being a real man-on-man, masculine and intensely sexual. And finally, I am in a versatile scene with Damien Crosse, which I actually wished had lasted much longer, but it was so hot, I realized there is only so long that I could hold off cumming. Man, how lucky am I to “work” that way?
Best of all, all you are going to see is natural, unfaked stuff. The chemistry was real. I have yet to see the edited, finished product, but I guarantee that it is going to worth staying home for and watching on DVD! And more than once!
And if Raging Stallion and fans want more of me, then the idea will be for me to go even more hardcore!

WOW! I cannot wait. That sounds mind- and load-blowing! Seriously, what a dream to work with guys like these. What a great cast. What were the guys like off-set? In addition to being sexual turn-ons, they all seem like genuine and fun guys to hang out with in between scenes.
Wilfried:
Off screen the guys are great. Totally genuine and fun-loving. It felt amazing to be able to be so comfy mixing good laughs and sex all together. Everyone was of course, professional, but also never taking themselves too seriously. Honestly, I think that’s what made the sex bit way hotter.
And another key to total load-blowing is versatility. No one had hang ups about whether to top or bottom, so the possibilities were endless. And when everyone’s relaxed like that, nothing can stop the pleasure we all had during the shoot.

I can only imagine what that would be like, but I bet it makes all the difference in the world. And let’s face it watching you with Steve, Francesco or Damien… sigh! I think I’d get hard from just watching you guys sit around a knit a scarf. So, watching the sex scenes (knowing there is believable chemistry between everyone) makes think this is going to incredible to watch. But I’d imagine in between scenes, there is also a lot of waiting. How do you pass the time when you’re on location shooting? (Do you read magazines, listen to your iPod, or…)
Wilfried:
Well, regarding the film, I’ll probably watch the scenes myself, which I have never wanted to do until now.
We were in a beautiful location. An amazing set in nature with beautiful architecture and a great pool around us. So, mainly I just chilled out in between my scenes. I have a very busy lifestyle outside of porn, so in a funny way, i was happy to have the occasion to slow down a bit. I was coming from New York City, where I had just shot my last Lucas movie and then rushed out west to shoot here. So a long day lounging by the pool in the sun with this gorgeous Raging Stallion cast was very welcome.

Though, I’ll admit I am the kind of guy that gets bored easily. I read a lot and also study for school, and love rediscovering music I have on my iPod. My music tastes are very varied and go from Kylie to Nine Inch Nails. Right now I am listening to the new Imogen Heap a lot. But I also love happy dance music. Not too hardcore, but the kind that is uplifting and perfect for cycling.
Of course, on top of not being too restless, I was also having these really vivid sexual day dreams, as I was looking forward to each of my scenes. They were all shot at night, so it was really hard for me to not have sex and keep it all in during the day, while I waited! But I guess that’s what being a pro is all about…

HA! Yes, I guess so. I can only imagine what your day-dreams were like with that cast in mind! You mentioned you read a lot and study. What topics fascinate you outside of porn?

Wilfried:
I am a big geology nerd and read mostly about that. Things like volcanoes fascinate me. And even plan my holidays around that. I recently went to Chile to climb some of the volcanoes there.
QueerClick:
I suppose some might be surprised by this, but being originally from the Pacific Northwest, I understand your fascination with nature and geology. Hiking, climbing and mountain biking are in my blood. Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Rainier are all good stuff to check out and worth hiking and exploring. Would you ever consider pursuing a career in geology? And did you say you cycle as well?
Wilfried:
I do cycle. About 30 miles a day commuting in any weather condition. Exercise keeps me (kinda) sane. I’m never going to be a big mountain of muscles, as my main activities are more aerobic than strength oriented, but moving about really does help me cope with stress. So does doing porn too. It’s actually another kind of release for me, and one that I love!

As for the Northwest, I actually know about Mount St. Helens, as well as Mt. Hood. I climb both regularly. Did Mt. Adams this summer and Mt. Rainier again next May. As for pursuing a geology career, no, I’d rather keep it as a hobby. I’ve already switched careers too often. I have been a lawyer, a personal trainer, and now I’m into medicine. So, I think I need to stick with that. Though, I am always learning something new. What’s good is the medical field I am in now, will always have new things to learn, so that will keep me challenged and motivated to constantly learn. And filming porn on top of all of this, is really sort of a treat or a reward for me. So, I’d very much like to keep this mix going in my life, as long as there are still people out there wanting to watch me.

Trust me, there are a lot of people who want to keep on watching you do porn! I am very impressed with your attitude about doing porn. It sounds like you do it for the enjoyment of it, not necessarily as a career. Your attitude about it seems healthy and well, surprisingly grounded.
Wilfried:
Oh, don’t misunderstand. I still see porn as a career choice, probably more than ever. When I first started with Lucas Entertainment, I wasn’t really focused and just wanted to make as many movies as I could. But Michael acted smartly, and promoted and taught me so well. I learned so much from him, as he taught me the benefit of going at a slower pace, so that fans wouldn’t get bored with me too quickly. I am really thankful for that experience and how he managed my over-excitement at the time.

And along that time, I became very realistic. It’s a big, tough industry. Guys come and go. There is always a new batch of younger, fitter guys and they’ll naturally take your place after awhile. I am not bitter about this, I just just realize it’s how it is. I see the new Israeli Lucas guys coming on and I love ’em. They’re fun, nice and beautiful… and they’re gonna do great. But it also makes me realize we all have to have something to fall back upon, when your glory fades. That way you can also plan to finish on a high point in your career and remain grateful for the industry even after you’ve long since retired.
So, that’s why I ended up going back to a full-time line of work and keep my brain curious and challenged. I am always looking to a bright future that won’t require me to rely on my body only.

QueerClick:
Wilfried, I am honestly impressed with how grounded and real you are about this. It’s inspiring for anyone in the profession. But I am curious, you have other career goals outside of porn, why would you start working with Raging Stallion?
Wilfried:
I just started with Raging Stallion and I have to tell you, it has been a dream of mine recently. And quite frankly, while I still have fans, I want to focus on making the most of my career. My studies do make it difficult for me to find time for a shoot, but after this first Raging Stallion shoot, where I had such a blast, I realized I was more than ready to give it a second go and work hard after all. They have been great with me as a starter, and all the guys are incredibly hot!
I love the paradox of it all: Leading a normal life and from time to time letting the dark side take over and do a porn. Not doing too many films, makes me yearn for more and me wanting to go more hardcore everytime. If anything, I have learned it is okay to be weird and in a way, we’re probably all bi-polar. Each of us just have a different way of manifesting it.


QueerClick:
Yeah, I think you might be right. We all have dark sides, and we sometimes let the fear of them control and limit us too much sometimes. If you take the time to understand and respect your dark side, it seems somehow healthier and more sane in the long run. In other words, embrace being dirty and having really hot sex with equally healthy-minded guys.
How much does your diet and gym time change before (or after) a shoot? What regimen do you have when you’re getting ready for a shoot?
Wilfried:
Actually, if anything, I try to slow down before shoots. Ordinarily, I’ve got to wake up at 5 am to lift weights and the 15 miles of cycling to work, 15 back, plus my studies at night. It all comes to a good 14 hour day! So just before a shoot, I lighten up my schedule. I get more sleep, which allows me to lower carbs, and I hike more. Mentally, I often try to know who my partners will be, so I can work myself up and sex down to reload up for filming. All real common sense stuff. It is just important to come to a shoot happy, rested and horny. Its a bit like turning up to a date with a guy that you have fancied for years! Then you deliver!
QueerClick:
You know, you’re right. In a way, your method for getting ready for a scene is actually also really good advice for a guy that you might be interested in as well. It’s about taking the time to be rested, happy and horny! HA!
As far as dating goes, do you sometimes feel challenged by that. You’re in porn, you’re obviously stunningly handsome, but do you think people make the assumption that porn is the only thing in your life? What do you wish people knew about you or might be surprised to learn?

Wilfried:
Basically when you decide to do porn, you sign up for people’s preconceived ideas. If you want exposure, you get it, but that comes with the negative, as well as the positive aspects. I don’t think porn stars can really complain about things like that. If that bothers you, you have no place in any part of the entertainment industry.
Plus, to be honest, people’s assumptions can keep your persona and charisma going, that is, on the condition you keep evolving your career and image on the way. You have to keep everyone wondering. I see no need in people know the “real” me or see too much of me. They’d get bored and I have no desire to be a shooting star.
I see it this way: even just for one date, I enjoy getting to explore someone, mentally as well as physically. So somehow, I expect the same from the other. Assumptions are a start to a conversation, we all assume about everyone, ’til we get the chance for that person to show us more.
On the other hand, it can be true that someone you meet in a bar can expect you to be that character they see in the movies. And as I said, that’s part of the deal of being in this business. However, the good news is I have rarely faked anything and what people see on screen is pretty real. For example, I have loud orgasms on screen and I can tell you that’s real. That’s how I am! And with my upcoming Raging Stallion, you are going to see more of what I can really get up to sexually!

Okay, knowing that is damned hot, Wilfried! I can’t wait to see what develops with Raging Stallion. That studio is producing some really wonderful and amazing quality stuff lately. It’s exciting that you’re part of it. Which makes me think of another question, obviously movies are always becoming more sophisticated. But do you also think the industry is changing?
Wilfried:
The industry? Well, I am optimistic for it, but also realistic. It’s future is bright, but I think if you’re not putting effort into being the best production company, I don’t think you’ll survive. Nowadays, there are so many of them the competition can really become fierce. What’s good for fans, is that it really pushes producers to go the extra mile for their work to be outstanding. You’ve got to provide viewers with great quality, great action and in great settings.
And quite frankly, I am grateful to be still in it after six years and now starting again with Raging Stallion. That and comparing myself to other, bigger and better performers really make me appreciate my place and motivate me to reach for what or who I look up to.

Wilfried, I think this conversation has been a fascinating peek into the brains behind the beauty. You’re a complex and charming man. Do you have something you would like to your fans to know about you?
Wilfried:
I could not pinpoint what part of me might surprise my fans, simply because I surprise myself everyday with what I can think or get up to! I do not ever think I’ll ever “find” myself, but I do love the searching part. So, I guess I could be a lot different than people expect in person, good or bad! I’m probably a little unpredictable. I like to keep my drive going, in the sense that if I find myself getting down, I’ll do things to bring my mood back up. And when the high gets too far, I make myself stumble, so I don’t forget what it’s like to be challenged and to work hard. And that applies to everything, including relationships, work, and porn. And for another man, I am sure that would be hard to handle. But it is rewarding too!
Speaking of handling, just keep an eye out for the new Raging Stallion release and you may finally see another side of Mr. Knight, a guy who is not that sweet!

Mmmm, that thought just makes me adore you more! Sexy fucker. Hey, you just shaved your head, does that have something to do with your new, tougher, not-so-nice persona for Raging Stallion?

Wilfried:
Oh, I actually just get bored with my face easily! So I changed how I looked. I guess my hair- and beard-cut is a cheap and early version of plastic surgery! Ha!
I also felt like I wanted to rough-up my look. With age and experience, I have become more sexual and while there isn’t much I haven’t tried, I don’t want to become blasé about it. I rather just know better what I enjoy and what I do not. I know I keep mentioning this, but Raging Stallion doesn’t ever say I need to look a certain way, but instead its given me the freedom to explore my options. And its worked. The scenes coming up are definitely gonna be hot, cause Raging Stallion is really good at capturing sex that is genuine and their is a real, personal connection between the guys. I am telling you, the way we fuck is simply what it would been like in real life without cameras. Real man to man action, loaded with testosterone. It’s hard to describe, you’re just gonna have to watch it. Did I just say it’s hard… 🙂 And on top (on top?!) of that, we gonna take the action up a notch and I really cannot wait!
