Queerying Francesco D’Macho

QC’s Spanish Editor Rick recently spoke with mega-hottie Francesco D’Macho about his porn work, dating in the business, cooking, and sex on the beach. An Italian native, Francesco has become a well-known Hot House star over the past year. The Spanish translation is available on QC Español, the English below.
QC: How did you ended up doing porn?
Francesco: Well, my ex-boyfriend, Felipe Romano, was working in the industry… He used to work for Falcon and I had the chance to look at the industry and how it is like. I was very jealous with all the attention he was getting and he was also making a lot of money, so I decided, “I can do it too.” Then my best friend Martin Mazza [QC Link], who is Spain, said “why don’t you try? I received emails from some companies and they saw your pictures, they are offering this amount of money”. So I got in touch with Hot House… after two weeks I was in California shooting my first movie. And then my company offered me an exclusive that I signed, so then I found myself as a porn actor one day (laughing) and then rest is history.
Did you get nervous on your first scene?
I was very nervous, yes. My first experience was in the movie “Black” from Hot House, a leather movie. Initially I was supposed to be in the movie for only one scene but I ended up in another scene because the director said “I can not believe this is your first time doing it, you are very good and you are very natural, you know exactly what to do” and honestly, when I look at it now the first scene I can tell that I was very nervous. Everybody told me and I was doing great and everything, but I don’t like it, it’s not my favorite movie.
And for how long have you been doing it?
Very short. Many people don’t realize that, but I did my first movie in June 2006, so it’s just over one year and four months. I’ve done seven movies so far and every movie it’s being better than the last. My last movie is “Jock Strap” from Hot House, and I saw a little bit of it and it’s my favorite movie.
How do you deal with people on the streets who recognize you? How do they react to you?
Here in Europe they don’t. In Europe there’s a different market for porn. I live in Madrid, Spain, and everybody knows me. I live in the gay area, I go to shopping, I go to the gym, occasionally to clubs… so I know a lot of people here, they used to see me around, so it’s not like a big deal. When I go to United States is different, there is a different market. If you go to San Francisco you will find big posters on the streets and literally if you go to Castro, porn stars are celebrities. I used to go to San Francisco with my ex-boyfriend François Sagat [QC Link] and people used to stop us, they wanted to take a picture and everything. It was always very nice. But, I must say that the most of attention that I get is through my website, e-mails, Myspace.

What is the best part and the worst part of working in porn?
The best part for me would be the traveling, meeting the people and all the countries. That’s what I really enjoy, every time it is a different thing. And of course you got to hang out with the some of the most beautiful guys around, you got to have sex with them and you got paid for that.
The worst part is your life becomes public domain, so everybody knows your actions. You can not feel the responsibility for it, you can not do certain things because it could look bad to your company. You become a product, that’s what I don’t like about it. If I start to date someone I try to be very quiet about it.
Is it hard for you to find a boyfriend that are not in the industry?
That was my biggest fear before I get into porn. I thought that maybe I really like a guy and he is going to have a problem with the fact that I work as a porn actor. And then by surprise I found out that this is not happening. I never have had a problem with that. I think because I’m doing it so well, I’m doing it professionally. I’m not doing it just to make money.
After a full day of work do you still have a sexual appetite for more when you leave the set?
No, I don’t even want to look at my dick (laughing). Usually my dick or my ass hurts a lot. It’s very hard being on set all day. People don’t realize what a challenge it is. It’s fun, if you want it to be fun, but it is a lot of work. You have to be focused, you have to perform and keep the same energy all the time. There are a lot of people working together, it can be very stressful. Since I work with the same company, I know everybody, and it’s like a big family. Beside that, I choose my scene partners, that is one of the benefits of been an exclusive. I choose who I want to perform on camera and it makes it easier. As long as I like the guy, I feel comfortable with him. It’s hard work, so in the end of the day I just want to go to sleep and I don’t want to see anyone. (laughing)
What is a regular day in your life?
I work as a graphics designer. I have Master in Graphic Design and I work as freelancer web designer. I’m great as well. I’m a computer freak. I spent a lot of time in front of the computer, and I’m actually designing my new website. I also workout everyday, It’s a very short workout, 45 minutes – 1 hour. And I eat a lot, so I spent a lot of time cooking my food. I eat seven/eight times a day, very small meal. I go to the movies like three times a week… I love going to the cinema, I’m always in the movie theater, always… The last movie I went watched was WolfCreek, a horror movie. So, I like horror movies. I also watch a lot of movies at home. I have a collection of DVDs at home and I buy two or three DVDs every week. I play X-box and Playstation, my ex-boyfriend used to tell me that I have very straight mentality because I do things that gay people don’t do (laughing). And I have a motorcycle, a Honda CBR 600 RR, so I go out regularly with my bike a lot. Specially in Madrid!
Since you like to cook your own food. What is your specialty?
Francesco: The food that I cook it is very basic. I’m a health freak! I eat a lot of rice, a lot of chicken. So my specialty is chicken breast with white rice or brown rice (laughing). So a lot of flavor in my sex life but not a lot flavor in my food.
Do you have any sexual fantasy? Like having sex in kitchen for example.
Yes, have sex on the beach, because I never had and I wanna do it. I never have chance to do it. I’m talking about being there in the water with someone. Maybe I’ll do next year. I’ll go to Greece and try it.
Do you consider yourself: a perfect husband or a one night stand?
I consider myself a perfect husband if my husband let me have one night stands…How was that?
Tell us about your new web site. All the guys must be going crazy buying your used underwear. How did you come up with that?
I learn a lot from people writing in my blog, from the comments that they send. In one of my previous posts, I said “What would you like to see in my website? – You can go as crazy as you want”, so I got over a hundred e-mails and the most of the e-mails were about things I should have in my store and most of them was used underwear. So I look around the internet and I saw there’s a big market for it. So I just did it, and that’s the only thing I sold from my store so far. (Laughing) I’m wearing now a pair of underwear (Laughing). I’m trying to have a website that is gonna be different for other porn actors websites. I’m gonna have this live webcam in my house, or in my hotel room, or wherever… and most of the day if I’m home I’m going to leave it on. I would love to see that about someone, when they clean their places, when they are taking a shower… Maybe I’ll leave it on when I’m sleeping too. It’s gonna have a chatbox, so people can leave comments and interact with me. Also, I bring my video camera with me everywhere I go. So I have so many videos from my trips, backstage and that’s going to be very interesting. I’ll have these series of videos called “The fantasies of Francesco D’Macho”, one of my fantasies is fucking with an electrician. It’s going to be all very amateur, nothing professional, not acting. We are having sex for real… I want my fans to be happy with that.
