Porn Break: Conner Habib Helps Lead The Fight Against Vine’s Adult Censorship

Sign the petition to fight the anti-porn decision on Vine
You may have read about how the popular social sharing app Vine decided to shut down (or worse yet, delete some accounts) with adult content that it deemed pornographic in our recent article about the state of porn in our world. The Puritanical decision seems extreme to us and while we can bitch about it endlessly, we think there is a far better way that Twitter’s Vine can manage adult content. But we can’t begin to collectively come up with a better solution until Vine considers reversing its decision. That’s why we were so happy that we’re not alone in our thinking.
In fact, the sexiest scholar we know, Conner Habib is already well ahead of us. He’s formulated some good thoughts on his blog about why this decision is absurd (it could be solved by a better user interface) and what we can do—namely he’s started a petition. We encourage you to read his blog (if you’re not already an avid fan) and then take your part in helping by signing the petition here.
