QC Open Forum: Are “Fitstagrammers” The Next Web Stars To Watch?
We have seen the raise of Vine stars, Instagram stars, YouTube stars and long time ago MySpace stars (remember that?) now it seems that we’re on the verge of the explosion of a new trend: “Fitstagrammers”. This particular breed of new celebrities are characterized by a huge IG following, tight six packs and an overnight internet fame. Probably the poster boy of this movement is Joe Wicks, who shares photos of his physique, tips about healthy food and the body transformations of his friends and colleagues. His social media savviness has earned a spot on TV shows and fans like singer Ellie Goulding. Given the PG nature of Instagram and their own propensity to show their bodies sans clothes we wonder how many of these “Fitstagrammers” do actually have nude selfies floating around, something that, when you have a hot body to flaunt, is bound to happen.
