QC Open Forum: MTV’s True Life Documents The Life Of “Gay For Pay” Actors Features Sean Cody’s Sean In The Trailer
Who would have thought that MTV, of all places, was going to give us the inside story of two popular gay-for-pay performers and how they are dealing with their careers and personal lives? Of course that with MTV being MTV it remains to be seen how their docu-reality show “True Life” succeeds or fails in representing these stories. From the very interesting trailer, filmed in July of this year (if the date in the cellphone seen in the video is real), we get to see a sneak peek of two stories that run in parallel. On the one side we have a married man with kids who started performing in gay sex films to support his family, this man is none other than SeanCody‘s Sean. He says that his wife thinks his job is hot but he seems conflicted about it nevertheless. And on the other side we have a guy with a big online presence and an even bigger body of porn work but who has somehow managed to kept that part of his life secret to his girlfriend (and by the way things look she will not remain in the dark for too long). You will soon recognize this guy as Men.com hot performer Vadim Black. We think both studios are going to love the publicity they are going to get from this unexpected (?) MTV push, but how will people react about the private lives of these two porn actors? And more importantly, how much of everything we see here is true?
