Lady Gaga Surprises Homeless LGBTQ Teens With Carload Of Gifts
“Lady Gaga recently paid a surprise visit to NYC’s Ali Forney Center in Harlem, the city’s largest shelter for homeless LGBTQ youth. She showed up with a car trunk full of gifts for them.
“These children are not just homeless or in need, many of them are trauma survivors,” Gaga explains in a video broadcast on TODAY. “They’ve been rejected in some type of way. My own trauma in my life has helped me to understand the trauma of others.”’ Towleroad
