QC Open Forum: Davey Wavey, Porn Mogul? The Popular Gay YouTuber Teases The Launch Of His “Soft-Core” Production Company With A Blind “Semen Testing Challenge”

He’s jumping (for real) into the porn industry world but don’t call him a pornographer… yet!

Davey Wavey, love him or hate him, you can’t deny that the man knows his audience. A few years ago he unofficially made his debut in porn, albeit reluctantly, when a video that showed him masturbating (which we can’t show you) was made public. Perhaps that moment signalled the future we’re seeing now?

Wavey seems visibly uncomfortable with his new role, is this “porn shame” that we’re perceiving?

Wavey always moved in the margins of porn with clickbait-y sex-related titled videos on YouTube and often inviting porn stars to his stunts. That propelled his career and earned him 1 million subscribers to his channel. But this week Davey announced that he’s launching an adult entertainment company and he did in the most possible Davey Wavey way. By swallowing cum for the first time (*cough, cough*) or as he puts it, doing a “semen taste testing challenge”. More on that later. But first we’d like to address something, Wavey seems visibly uncomfortable with his new role, is this “porn shame” that we’re perceiving? He asked his mom and family to not watch his most recent YouTube videos and he stressed, several times, that his new adult content (which he can’t link on YouTube on risk of being demonetized there) is not porn-y but educational, going as far as reinforcing the idea with a tag line, “Like porn. But better.”

And before you’re asking, no. He’s not fucking in front of the cameras (for now) as it appears he has limited himself to directing and producing the material he’s putting out there. His first scenes, which by the way are ALL narrated by DW on an almost whispered voice over and feature faces like Blake Mitchell, Sean Ford. Josh Brady, Pierce Paris, Calvin Banks and Derek Maxum never go into hardcore territory and Wavey acknowledges the names he draws inspiration from even citing the work of the Black Spark as an influence in the descriptions.
