Calum Von Moger is an Australian bodybuilder and model/actor. The massive 27yo stud made the headlines this year when he was cast as a young Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie “BIGGER”, currently in production, about the founders of the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding contest. His resemblance with the former California governor is uncanny and they even share a similar background as Von Moger also has Austrian and Dutch ancestry in his family.
Much like his hero and now the part he’s about to inhabit on the big screen, Calum is a multiple Mr Universe champion from a young age. Though without a doubt the hardest obstacle for him will be to nail the accent Von Moger is working with dialect coach and in preparation for the role he has already met Schwarzenegger once, at the gym of course. He cracked some poses and even got a few tips from Arnold himself about his posture. But we’re sure there’s one pose in particular that doesn’t require the input from the Austrian-American legendary actor. It’s no secret that Calum isn’t afraid to show off his muscles. As we continue our month of spoogy Australiana, we look back at the early days of Chris Hemsworth, bodybuilding, gravel voiced star of Thor and various other films. Before Chris went to Hollywood and increased his muscle mass by about 100 pounds, he was the epitome of the lithe, lean surfer dude that the north east coast of Australia is famous for.
If you ever travel to that particular part of Australia, you’ll know instantly what we’re talking about. These guys saunter around the place with no shirts on and, sometimes, their surfboard under their arms, 365 days a year (there is no Winter in this part of the world). They’re also very friendly, and not at all homophobic, and will happily stop and chat to anybody, often standing in front of you with their hands behind their head nodding and smiling while you tell them about your ex-boyfriend or how in need of a blowjob you are.
