You’re at work, your boss is out or out of sight, your co-workers are too involved in their own things and you’re horny as hell. Suddenly it hits you, those very well-known three steps. First the idea of watching porn at work is too tempting, second you become so horny that the idea seems unavoidable, third you cave.

Do you take any precautions to avoid getting caught while you are indulging in porn watching? From politicians to every worker under the sun there are countless stories of guys at work that got caught as their eyes were too fixated on what was happening on their screens.

Here at the QC headquarters watching porn is actually safe for work but we’re completely aware that not everyone works in such a porn-friendly environment. So we think it’s a good idea to summon the collective knowledge of our readers along with some handy (pardon the pun) suggestions that you can use when you want to get some visual stimulation at work.

Some tips to check NSFW content when you are at work.

First the obvious, these first checkpoints may sound like a stupid thing but remember when you are horny you are not exactly the smartest person on the planet so it doesn’t harm to keep them mind!

#1. Spatial Awareness

Check your surroundings and then double check them again. If you have a wall behind you make sure there are no reflective surfaces that could mirror what you have on your screen. If your work space is near a window be sure that your computer is not visible from the outside at ANY angle.

#2. Audiophiles Take Note

If you plan to use your headphones because you enjoy the moaning sounds of sex first test that your speakers are not on and the sound is actually coming from the earbuds. But always consider that muting everything altogether is preferable and safer.

#3. Guard Your Screen

You share the space with other co-workers and physically shielding your screen is not an option, then using a smaller window could do the trick. Try using 70% of the top of your screen for a work document and the remaining portion at the bottom for porn. Better yet, if you know how to use the Terminal set the opacity of your main window (the one with porn) at 50%, casual passers might catch something of what you are watching but from a distance and with the text behind it may convince them that it’s nothing worthy of interest at that moment. Important note: if you don’t know what Terminal is then this last part could be too advanced for you but the first part is totally doable for anyone.

#4. Know How To Hide Your Porn Quickly

Use dedicated, invite-only, Slack channels to share porn with your friends and use the /collapse command to hide all open images if someone approaches.

#5. Know Your Browser

The incognito mode of your browser of choice is your best friend so get familiar with it! Some people are completely unaware of this feature that makes it possible that none of your browsing history is saved.

These tips are our favorites:

#6. Cover Your Tracks

– Clean your browser history, even if you are using the aforementioned incognito mode, make sure to always go into your browser history window and manually delete everything.

#7. Use a VPN

Don’t know what a VPN is? The acronym, stands for virtual Private Network, but despite the fancy name it’s just a way of overlaying a private network on top of a public network, effectively encrypting the information that passes through the networks so your internet traffic can’t be monitored. If you’re interested in a good VPN service, QC highly recommends a VPN not only for checking porn-related reasons but really as a way to be safe on the Web in general.

#8. Sharing Is Also Caring

If you are feeling like sharing with a friend the porn you are watching via chat, text message, Twitter DM or Snapchat agree beforehand on a safe word to give them time and a heads-up that they are about to receive explicit content. There’s nothing worst than being in a work meeting, you open a message and it’s a hardcore video that your friend sent you thinking that you might like it but the thought that it might be a bad time for you never crossed their minds. And don’t settle on an obvious safe word like, “hey, I’m sending porn” as this would not work, remember that we live in a world of push notifications that could be read by anyone even from your lock screen.

#9. One-Trick Pony

Don’t try to do two things at once. If you are watching porn at work then commit, it could be actually safer than being seen nervously switching between two tasks. A work distraction could make you momentarily forget that the video you were watching is still running in the background and these things have a penchant for popping back at the worst time.
