Tom Cruise Sues over Unauthorized Use of Image on Butt Plug

HOLLYWOOD – Tom Cruise has filed a $50-million lawsuit against Holesome Fun Incorporated, the world’s largest manufacturer of sex toys, over the company’s alleged unauthorized use of his image on its new Mission Insertable butt plug.
Mr. Cruise is also demanding “the immediate and complete withdrawal” of the Mission Insertable butt plug from Holesome Fun’s Dark Side of the Moon catalog and from any and all persons “currently harboring” this device.
“My client is tired of being the butt of jokes about his sexuality,” said Mr. Cruise’ attorney Marvin Keister. “The Mission Insertable butt plug is offensive not only on its face but also in its subversion of an orifice that Scientologists believe is next to godliness.
“L. Ron Hubbard taught Scientologists to respect their large—and their small—colons as the pathway to better physical and mental health; and although Mr. Cruise endorses regular high colonic cleansing and Vitamin K enemas, he is offended by the notion of butt plugs in general and of those with his face on them in particular.”
Trey Guccione, CEO of Holesome Fun, responded angrily to Mr. Cruise’ lawsuit.
“Like I’m sure Tom’s never been shitfaced before,” said Mr. Guccione. “He can take his lawsuit, hold it sideways, and stick it where the sun don’t shine.”
The device at the bottom of this controversy is a 3-inch silicone statuette designed to be inserted into the anus and rectum for sexual pleasure. A butt plug can be inserted during sex or it can be worn while its user is gardening, shopping, or attending the theater.
Butt plugs, which can be worn by men or women, gay or straight, were invented in Greece about 350 BCE. Since then butt plugs have been worn by historical figures (Alexander the Great, Hannibal, and Julius Caesar), musicians (Tchaikovsky, Boy George, and Mick Jagger), and opinion shapers (Gertrude Stein, Barney Frank, and Matt Drudge).
George Washington is rumored to have been wearing a wooden butt plug when he crossed the Delaware to attack the Hessians at Trenton. That, according to some Washington scholars, explains why he was standing up in the boat during the crossing.
In related news, 17 percent of the respondents to a recent Postcards from the Pug Bus poll believe Tom Cruise was fired by Paramount because of his penchant for wearing butt plugs.

“I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I’d like to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there,” Knight tells PEOPLE in a statement. “While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I’m gay isn’t the most interesting part of me.”
Knight, 33, plays the unassuming Dr. George O’Malley on the hit ABC drama. A Minneapolis native, he began his career in that city’s famed Guthrie Theater.
He has also appeared on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Law & Order: Criminal Intent

Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey are laughing off questions about their sexuality and rumors that they’re anything more than just pals.
“We tried it. Wasn’t for us,” McConaughey jokes to Details magazine in a new interview that addresses rumors about them – and pal Jake Gyllenhaal – being gay.
Armstrong says his newly-close relationship with McConaughey grew out of the fact that they were both suddenly single at the same time. McConaughey had broken up with actress Penelope Cruz and Armstrong had called off his engagement to singer Sheryl Crow.
“Our friendship just kind of developed,” the cycling champ tells the magazine for its November issue. “He got out of a relationship; I’d just gotten out of a relationship.”
Armstrong, who has known McConaughey for eight years, stresses that despite the raised-eyebrows they’ve gotten due to photos of them – often shirtless – biking, running and partying together, they are just buddies.
“I think people see pictures and they think we’re these overgrown frat guys, but we all have those kinds of relationships – and relationship isn’t a bad word,” says Armstrong. “I mean, we all have buds, we all take guy trips, but you take something very normal and you put it in a magazine, and people start talking. ”
He goes on to say, “It’s like, either you sleep with anything that moves or you’re gay. They can’t figure it out.”
McConaughey goes further to defend their relationship saying, “A lot of people don’t understand friendship and brotherhood. I have a great friend in him. I’d do anything he asked me to, even though he’d probably never ask me to, and he feels the same way. It’s fun going out and living life and doing things at the drop of a hat. LiveStrong just happens to be the most deliberate guy I’ve ever met.”
Armstrong, 35, calls McConaughey, 36, the “Redneck Buddha,” and says the actor’s laid back style has been a good influence on him – especially when it comes to gossip. “His idea is like, ‘Look, it is what it is, so go out there and have fun.’ He’s truly carefree – which is to say, he truly doesn’t care.”
The seven time Tour de France winner also admits in the interview that he hasn’t quite yet recovered from his split from Crow, especially the public’s reaction. “We couldn’t get it right, we couldn’t get it wrong,” he says. “Just a lot of back-and-forth. But we had a love for each other, and I think we still do.”
Personally, I don’t care whether they are or are not. I think they are cute and that is enough for me. I have never got much satisfaction out of WITCH HUNTS/GAY HUNTS or pointing fingers at people… Unless they OUT themselves or decide to engage in gay porn, then I don’t get the big deal of accusing them.
