Brokeback Mountain Screen Grabs

Brokeback Mountain

You can bet that we'll be in line to see Bareback... errrr, I mean Brokeback Mountain tomorrow. In the meantime, have fun looking at over 300 screengrabs from our buddy "slidenby" at his recently relaunched Fleshseeker Blog. Mmmm.....

So looking forward to watching this movie :)

I already saw it in Rio International Film Festival. It's a very good movie (not to mention the hot guys), very sad, but very good.

POINT TO PONDER: "JAKE GYLLENHAAL DEFENDS NEW FLICK--The Donnie Darko star attends the LA premiere of new movie Brokeback Mountain. It's being called the gay cowboy movie but he says that's wrong: "It's not the appropriate title or explanation for it - it's a love story over 25 years with complications and struggles."

RHETORICAL QUESTION: How many among us who now rave over Jake Gyllenhaal bothered to take a second look at him during his Alien Rabbit and dorky dour dude movie days--i.e., BEFORE the MARKETING Department officially designated and promoted him as a stud?

Posted by: donnie at December 10, 2005 04:27 AM

Actually, his film Donnie Darko is when I first noticed him, and when I first noticed I could have an orgasm just by watching a movie...

:)

I don't subscribe to the flavor of the month club...have lusted after him SINCE Donnie Darko-maybe before. Just because he was playing a "dorky" role (to use your description)-what does that have to do with anything-it's called "acting." I agree that Hollywood hypes a lot of actors as "studs"-but no hype is necessary with Jake-he's got it all and has had it all for quite some time.

Ever heard of a little movie (before Donnie Darko was around) called "October Sky?" Check it out and then get back to us about how Jake was a "dork" in his earlier flicks.

I noticed Jake as a hunk to be in the movie "October Sky". I have seen it several times. Watching him is like a waterfall running down a beautiful, majestic mountain. It never gets old.I cannot wait to see he and Heath together.

Jake was cute before the Hollywood machine gotta hold of him, yeah for sure there is now alot of hype and he's been groomed somewhat but I just see that as his growth and blossoming. He always had the potential right? Youve either got it or you aint and I tell you Jake has always had it! I guess now though hes going to become so popularised there will be the inevitable comparisons - understandable, but in any actors career they will go through a period of during their early days in some B movie productions in order to get to where they are now. I say hes HOT now and he was HOT before! :) - anyway, just my two cents!

See "Moonlight Mile" and "Lovely & Amazing" and tell me that his jet-black hair and bright baby blues weren't already solid signs of what was to come.

(Pun intended.)
