Whilst I am not a member with any of these sites, we get a pretty good preview here at QC and it was getting to the point where these sites were pumping out the same type of guy over and over again and while some maybe better looking than others, they were all still plucked and buff and shaved and what-not. I'd be surprised if SC didn't get a big response from this posting of Caleb and include some more different-from-the-norm type of guys on the site.

I think thats where these amateur sites seem to loose the plot. Believeing that we (gay men) as an audience and paying members can only be attracted to the one certain physical appearence could be classed as offensive. Sure we like looking at the Patricks from Sean Cody and the Dawsons from Corbin Fisher, but to assume that we would be limited to such a liking is uncalled for. It's the main reason as to why I am not a member with these sites.

Porn is porn - plain and simple. It's filled with well chiselled bodies, good looking faces and big hard dicks, but these sites are amateur porn sites - the difference being the models come from 'the real world' and therefore should refelct that. These sites should know better than to assume that our tastes in men are not as diverse as our taste in music, movies or shoes for that fact.

As i said in an earlier post, well done to Sean Cody for the post and who knows, we might see a more diverse range of models hitting these sites!

Exactly. Actually Queerclick *not blaming QC* reaffirmed my thoughts on today's amateur porn. ASG started out with "real men" and slipped as the time went by. One site that I find extremely hot and promising is New York Straight Men. I agree with you Blake, more diverse is good, but keep the standard up, after all SC's got a pretty good reputation for having the hottest guys, I think Caleb is different for sure and not what I would normally go for, but hes pretty hot in his own way! :O

I think thats kind of the problem, what exactly is hot? I honestly think Sean Cody can do whatever he wants with his site but I guess I'm just super disappointed in his deviation. I guess what most gay men think what a attractive man is WASP/defined/muscular kind of guy. I just wish there were really good sites that showed more ethnic, cubbish, real men. When I'm on Sean Cody, or Jake Cruise, or some other site I don't even bother with anymore, its like entering a world of clones. lol. There's small variations here and there but all the same nontheless.
