The comments last Monday were excellent and thought provoking so I thought it would be interesting to bring this format to QC regularly where there are many intelligent minds with differing opinions.
Topic 1:
GLBT Genetics and DNA.
Recently a study was posted: New research adds a twist to the debate on the origins of sexual orientation, suggesting that the genetics of mothers of multiple gay sons act differently than those of other women.
My question to QC readers is simply this: Do you believe that if it can be proven conclusively that DNA/Genetics/Chromosomes directly determine the sexual orientation of a child, do you think this will be a good thing or a bad thing? My concern for both sides of this issue is this: If it can be proven, will it be used to isolate those chromosomes to try and manipulate the DNA so no child will be of any sexual orientation besides heterosexual? Can the GLBT community use the Biology Of Sexual Orientation as a platform for human rights to prove that genes make people who they are and therefore we should be granted all civil rights and freedoms that are currently held from us due to GLBT being a “perceived” choice of lifestyle?
Topic 2:
Adult Industry Site Owners Stepping In Front Of The Cameras.
