The 24-year-old rock singer from Brighton beat teenage Welsh lifeguard Glyn Wise to walk away with the £100,000 prize. Pete had been hot favourite to win throughout the 13-week competition... and now we know why! Congrats Pete... for the win... and... cough cough.

who gives a shit? I am sick of these reality TV nobodies being glorified by the media and idiotic viewers. Big Brother is easily the worst of the worst as far as "competition shows." No one on there has any REAL talent-unless you consider self-absorption/arrogance/manipulation "talents."
Sorry-I am just sick of us legitimizing these asinine shows and their "stars."

donnie, no one gives a fuck about your definition of "stars." pete's a genuine, funny, sweetheart of a man. BB isn't about talent, numbnuts.
but yes, the majority of Britain (and some in the US and elsewhere, myself included) know who pete is, and would've gladly voted for him if we could. thus, he's a star. moreso, he's a role model for people who want to accept the hardships that are dealt to us and overcome them.

I watched every episode of this season and Pete is an amazing person. really geunine and funny.
He was so much hotter when the show ended too.
