Fall 2006 Paul Smith
Leave it to Paul Smith to add new life to a tired old horse, that of the Wild Wild West. Smith is a master of tailoring which is purely English. It should come as no surprise that he was able to combine with seamless effort the world of the cowpoke of Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman with that of King Edward. In other hands we would be extremely worried of the outcome, but Smith keeps it simple by pairing a plain white shirt with the simplest details with a finely tailored down dark-gray flannel suit.
This was a collection meant for one thing: to sell at the retail level of Smith’s branded shops as well at other menswear stores. Big chunky cardigans with western motifs, the easy fit boot-cut jean, and the large cowboy style belt buckle.
Must haves: The classic Smith two-button suit in charcoal, the black and white embodied snap-button western shirt and the six button thermal henleys.

FINALLY!!!!!! Tight jeans are coming back. The last 15 years of pants hanging off butts is coming to an end..we will once again be able to enjoy the male form again in all its tight glories
I just LOVE Paul Smiths collections!!!!!!!!!
Bill, where have you been? I know I live in New York and all, but even back home where my family lives in Virginia, people have been off the "baggy jeans" fad for years! It's all about a straight-leg, slim jean...
And, please remember, these are fall 2006 shots. Spring 2007 is now in stores and fall 2007 runway show just happened two weeks ago in Milan. Fall 2006 styles (as pictured above) are no longer in stores and were marked down long ago.
It's time yet again NOT to eat lunch for a month to save up to afford Paul Smith's!!!!
Please !!! ENOUGH of 2006 !!!
