Gay Walk?
Researchers at Northwestern University are studying whether the way you walk is an indication of your orientation. Student researcher David Sylva attaches bright red lights to various parts on people and videotapes them walking in the dark. He then shows the videos to others and asks them to guess the walker’s sexual orientation. The factors of clothing, hairstyles, and facial expressions are removed from bias since the walkers appear in the dark.
