Sorry but if I wasn't out of town I would've voted for Teo. Leo is hot and everything but I don't think there was enough charisma in his performances. Funny Teo had more votes in the 08 Man of the year poll than Leo.

I'm not questioning your choice. The dude is fucking hot!! However, in defending your choice, you raise a lot of questions. You're clearly "in" the porn world, while many of us who cruise the site are not. What does it mean when you say that Leo "had a much bigger impact on the entire porn world?" Last year's choice, Danny of seancody.com, only appeared on one site and then disappeared into...well, who knows where he is. Interestingly, Danny and Teo also appeared in almost the same number of videos on their respective sites. I'm wondering if it just might be easier for QC to say that you liked Leo more than anybody else. After all, that's what it boils down to, right?

Just one queers opinion, but Leo's look is just as "Ken-Barbie' plastic-looking as Danny from last year, a real turn-off. If you cut off their heads you couldn't tell the difference between them. AND he's been on sites having sex w/women? I know this can't possibly be the truth, but it's starting to come off a little to us little readers (who really DO luv U guys!!) like QC only gets turned on by STR8 (or bi) men, and gloriously gorgeous GAY men are a turn-off. I'm very torn about this. Leo is the obvious choice in this case but it's dissapointing to see another gay for pay preformer chosen as man of the year. That itself says more about the self-hating nature of gay porn than it does queerclick. if people don't like gay for pay then they shouldn't procure porn from companies that are known to use such actors. Distributors are only flooding the market with what they know makes money. If we as consumers say that we don't want such products and refuse to buy them then distibutors have to come around.

Anyways, Great pick editors! Leo is definitely in the top 5 guys who made the biggest impact in the 2008 gay porn scene. I praise the editors pick because it takes more than just good looks (which Leo has for sure!) to make into the top. I do think he has a lot of charisma! The biggest turn-on about him is his down-to-earth appearance and demeanor: he looks and behaves like a good looking guy we can find in real life. Teo, OTOH, is a reiteration of the ephemeral Bel Ami beauty standard. Leo will look good way into his 40s.

This pick was much better than last year's for sure.

No offense and all; he's got a great body, but the face has always been a bit to cold and stone for my taste. A great body is a dime a dozen in this business, which is why I look for someone with charisma and obvious sexual interest beyond the buck and unfortunately thats where I've felt leos interests lie solely. I have always disagreed with "Best of" polls, however I must agree with Leo's pick of QC Man of The Year 2008.

No other gay porn personality this year has made quite a splash as Leo have. Appearing on various websites AND bottoming earlier in his career. I suspect his inability to stay hard influenced his decision to not become an exclusive top.

Although his scenes are lifeless and lack sizzle, I do enjoy watching a big galoob like Leo smoke pole and take it up his ass. Don't get me wrong---I truly think he's one hot stud. But at least pretend you're enjoying the sex just a little!

Yes being straight does still qualify as being a man right? And since when is a gay guy the opposite of a straight one?
