Steve Grand, aka Steve Chatham, aka Steve Starchild aka Finn Deisel: Another Porn Connection!

A few days ago, we introduced you to Steve Grand, a sexy new country sensation. Some readers have quarreled with our calling him the first openly gay country singer — a branding we stand behind, incidentally. However, in either case, Grand is here, he’s queer, and he’s sexy as fuck. In our previous post on him, we pointed out that in his latest video, Grand’s costar is none other than Fratmen’s Taylor.
One of our readers gave us a tip-off that has revealed yet another porn connection. Steve (or whatever we decide to call him) has done some modeling and has pictures on Adonis Male under the name Steve Chatham and Finn Deisel. And we should go ahead and say, he looks even sexier in his Adonis Male pics than in his video. Seriously, you can definitely see his dick in one. But that’s not the end of the story! Recognize anyone from the teaser photo? The plot gets even thicker/veinier when we point out that in a couple of his modeling shots, he’s posing with model-turned-pornstar Bejamin Godfre (of Falcon Studios).




We should be totally clear though: This doesn’t make Steve Grand any less awesome or attractive or important. All we’re suggesting is that Steve isn’t quite the homegrown overnight sensation that his branding suggests. Which is a pretty commonplace phenomenon in the music industry. We’d still marry him.




















If we suspend disbelief (along with a couple angry commenters) and allow ourselves to buy into the fact that Steve Grand is actually the product of a pretty deliberate and precisely engineered PR campaign, we must ask another question. Who was Steve Chatham before he was Steve Grand? Was he a struggling musician, trying to make it on the busy streets of Chicago, like his bio would have us believe? Or, with all of these porn connections, could Steve Chatham have been a porn hopeful-turned-model-turned singer? Could we maybe see him do some porn in the future?
Ok, fine, we’re mostly joking. But still, the question stands: Who was Steve Chatham before he was Steve Grand?
