A few weeks ago, we New Site Attacked a new cam site called GayHoopla.

In honor of this new site on our blogroll, and because we like it so much, we are continuing the GayHoopla hoopla here on QC. We had the pleasure this week of interviewing the wizard behind the curtain at GayHoopla, also responsible for USACamGuys. Sit back and get to know the brain behind two of our favorite cam sites.
QueerClick Hi Landon, thanks so much for taking some time to talk with us. I wonder if you could give us a little background on yourself. How did you get started in the adult industry. What inspired you to start GayHoopla and USACamGuys?
Landon I was 18 years young and a buddy of mine was recruited by a talent scout. Without me knowing my buddy gave the talent scout my pictures a contact info, the rest from there is history! I always wanted to own a business, that above all was the real goal. After working in this industry for over 8 years, I’ve learned plenty and wanted to see if I could put my stamp on this world. So far both GayHoopla and USAcamguys have served both my mainstream and adult vision and I’m loving it.
QueerClick Why cam sites specifically? Is there something in particular that you love about the format/business model of a cam site more than other kinds of adult sites? For that matter, how are cam sites different than the other adult websites?
Landon I’ve chosen this particular outlet because of my love for stuff that feels real. In my own opinion , it’s hard to distinguish what is real or fake in this world. In my personal experience , cam sites appear to me almost like therapy for both the model and member. You can’t talk about sex all the time so other things fall into place like sports, music, personal problems etc. I’ve always been a fan of speaking to people around the world and learning from them. Putting on a sexy show is only the beginning 🙂 You can’t really accomplish this with only doing pre-recorded media.
QueerClick What kinds of criteria do you look for when evaluating a potential new model and what makes a good model? Do you have a favorite GayHoopla model?
Landon I’ve been around good looking people majority of my life (I’ve always been the weakest hoe, lol). It’s very easy for me to spot a model who I believe is GayHoopla material. Even though I’m straight, I’ve probably seen more naked men then most gay guys and strippers. Landon Wow… I love the progression and watching something you’ve created grow. I think it’s most flattering to see other people enjoy your product and let you know it. I also get amazing satisfaction in seeing competitors trying to do what I do. Another moment that has stood out to me was being pirated for the first time! I felt like I moved to the big leagues. To be quite honest though, I want to remain humble because there’s so many more ideas and goals I want to accomplish. They’re some juggernaut sites out there that blow my mind how productive and innovative they are. I hope to one day just be a fraction of what they are.
QueerClick What kind of porn do you watch on your personal time?

QueerClickWhat is a typical day like for you in running GayHoopla?
Landon A roller coaster ! Like any new small business your constantly going through an emotional period. It allows me to be able to have verbal communication and respond to members as I work and live my life. It helps keep me sane… the best ideas usually flow after midnight. QueerClick Has GayHoopla taught you anything new about the fantasies of your audience or what people find sexy?
Landon The one fetish/fantasy I was unaware until GayHoopla was Giants. I had members asking me about making videos where I would be a Giant. Never heard of that one … Interesting, to say the least!
