躲避了一整天，交保後的大炳選擇說個清楚。藝人大炳：「我要在這邊，跟所有喜歡我的朋友、工作上夥伴、在工作上幫過我的所有人，說聲不好意思。」
真的是聲淚俱下，滿心悔恨，但平常給人聰明印象的大炳，怎麼會不知道毒品碰不得？大炳：「我一開始真的只是想要控制體重，讓自己以後不會恣意的發胖，動機其實本來就那麼簡單，後來就是認識比較複雜的朋友。」記者：「吸食毒品多久了？」大炳：「比較密集就是這半年。」

沒有企圖遮掩，大炳形容兩人只是普通朋友，相較於施姓男子的坦然，大炳不管是在警局被偵訊，還是移送地檢署時，都努力的把帽子壓低，迴避媒體，直到裁定交保，經紀人送來3萬保釋金，大炳這才決定說清楚。記者：「有其他藝人跟你一樣吸毒？」大炳：「真的也不曉得，因為我們平常在工作的場合，也不會聊這樣的事。」
其實早在去年10月，大炳就曾被目擊和一男一女在林森北路“薇閣精品旅館”開房間，當時大炳不改幽默本色，表示另外兩人是夫妻，自己只是幫忙訂房間！如今被在汽車旅館注射毒物被警方逮捕，不禁令人好奇，大炳到旅館休憩，真的是打電動這么簡單？事情真相仍有待檢警厘清。
据報道，“大炳”本名為余炳賢，今年32歲，以變裝秀搞笑著稱，在各大綜藝節目常常可以看到他的精湛的模仿和搞笑功力。除了表演，住旅館住成精的大炳，也出版“MOTEL通”等書，介紹全台灣有特色的汽車旅館。
在綜藝節目《全民大悶鍋》里，大炳不僅模仿過前行政院院長謝長廷、藝人蔡琴、主持人利菁，甚至連美國國務卿賴斯都難不倒他。
