And so it is. Here’s our inaugural interview to kick off the “Queerying” series where we boomerang some questions (hopefully interesting ones) over to the people we fancy for all sorts of reasons.
We are very pleased to have with us, Dylan Ricci, whose male nude photography work transcends the basic (and perhaps shallow?) premise of pretty boys in white underpants, or mass produced homo-erotica.
Apart from being oh-so-nice to look at, Dylan’s pictures are infused with an emotional intensity, that is real, and pure. The images draw you in tenderly and comfortably and you can stare at them forever. They beautifully articulate the male form without embellishment or distraction. These are the nude pictures you’d hang in your main hall which your granny would approve of, and subsequently drool at.
Dylan was very fun to correspond with and we appreciate his taking his precious time out in answering all our questions at length.
QC: If you must choose, please rank in order of importance:
1) A good camera
2) A good model
3) A good photographer
4) Good lighting
DR: That’s easy a good photographer. Without the ability to create a composition and “see” the beauty in a particular pose, there is no photograph. The camera is last on the list. Good lighting is important, of course, but anyone can learn good lighting. A good model, on the other hand, especially for nude work, is crucial. If I had to rank it would be photographer, model, lighting and camera.
Let’s talk about another Jackson, shall we?
Making his debut in 2002, Cheyenne Jackson first gained attention with his performances in “Aida” and “Altar Boyz”, but his latest role in “All Shook Up” – an Elvis-based musical that’s not about Elvis – is his most visible to date.
This Broadway leading man is not only nice in person but scores brownie points for being so comfortable with his sexuality. Cheyenne stands at a strapping 6’1â€?, has shiny black hair, piercing blue eyes, muscles that tees hang on to like there’s no tomorrow AND a butt that just won’t quit!
Tall, Dark and Handsome, anyone?
Handsome and muscular Italian leading man Raoul Bova is also a trained athlete and national swimming champion. He began his acting career on Italian television, joining the cast of the award-winning crime drama La Piovra (shown in France as La Mafia) during its seventh season, which led to starring roles in several subsequent La Piovra TV movies and miniseries.
Bova made his European film breakthrough in 1993 with the romantic fantasy Piccolo Grande Amore as a hunky watersports instructor, and he’s played romantic leads ever since. He played a handsome plumber in the comedy Comincio Tutto Per Caso and a heroic husband in the thriller Coppia Omicida.
In 2001, he appeared with Italian film legends Sophia Loren and Giancarlo Gianinni in Lina Wertmüller’s historical drama Francesca e Nunziata. The next year he was in his first American film, Avenging Angelo, starring Anthony Quinn in his final role. After returning to Italy to play opposite Giovanna Mezzogiorno in the romantic drama La Finestra di Fronte, he did another Hollywood project as Diane Lane’s love interest in Audrey Wells’ romantic comedy Under the Tuscan Sun.
Bova is most recently seen in the action movie Alien vs. Predator and in the very sexy Gap Khakis commercial! We’ve made some screen grabs for you!
Finally, you have to head right away to the QC Gallery for the super-clear, super-hi-res scans of Raoul Bova. All ten of them! Enjoy!
Head over to Guy Guide for the really yummy wallpapers of Nick Auger, Ryan Carnes (whom we think strikes a slight resemblance to Brad Pitt), and the Karshner Triplets.
Gonna miss you, Jeremy! Friday suddenly seems so far away…
Men For All Seasons is Australia’s longest running and most successful sports modelling calendar. This year marks the 11th year of the series in running.
Each year, the calendar features the hottest players from the ranks of professional AFL football. These sexy men combined with the excellence of the calendar’s featured photography now sees the calendar marketed successfully in the USA, UK and Canada.
We actually prefer last year’s calendar to this year’s.
When Andy first shared Brent van Zant with the rest of the world, he got all of us hot and bothered and wanting more. Brent graces this issue’s DNA magazine as well as Men’s Fitness. We managed to discover some yummy shots (and some very ‘visible penis lines’!) of Brent modelling for N2N’s body and swim wear 2004 catalogue. No wonder I thought he looked familiar. I bought a pair of N2N trunks months ago and he was in that catalogue!
“This ain’t easy, ya know,” he says, running his huge hands through the fur on his stomach and down into his now-open jeans. Joey Greggor is March 2005 Men Magazine‘s scorching hot cover model and we’re pleased to bring to you 3 exclusive shots. For more super hi-res images of Joey, visit MenCyberClub.com.
