We May Have Found Our Favourite Japanese Restaurant Yet!

If you are a vegan you might want to reconsider that if you want to visit our new favourite restaurant! Tokyo is full of surprises and one of them is the latest trend in customer service. These bodybuilders at the Macho Nikuya (“nikuya” means “butcher” or “meat shop”) will not only get your order in time but they will also deliver it with a smile a some flexing on the side! The idea isn’t new, it’s sort of like a spin-off of the “Macho Cafe” and it has become so popular that huge lines, of women and men, are seeing forming outside the shops. Their infecting smiles and perfectly developed muscles of the staff are certainly a crowd-pleaser at the yakiniku restaurant (it is worth to note that “muscles” in Japanese is pronounced as “kinniku.” So “ya-kinniku” makes a clever wordplay.) After their media appearances the guys have formed a band under the name “Macho29” composed of 10 members and they have recorded a song called “Viva Macho!” produced by Shinji Tamura, the man behind other famous idol groups like SMAP and SKE48. The members of the band have agreed to a set of rules that are supposed to act as their moral compass 1. No consumption of alcohol, 2. No smoking, 3. No violence, 4. Inhale oxygen, 5. Drink protein, and 6. “Muscle cell destruction” The later is a bit puzzling to us but we’re glad for number four, we really want for these guys to be reminded of keep breathing, must be because they flex a lot! QC reader, will you go on a exclusive meat diet just to eat at this restaurant 24/7? Tell us in the comments!

Gay Couple That Received Negative Comments Over Their Look Together Tied The Knot In A Beautiful Ceremony!

Gay Couple That Received Negative Comments Over Their Look Together Tied The Knot In A Beautiful Ceremony!

You have probably read about the first part of this story, a gay couple faced unexpected negative comments when a photo of the two holding hands while riding the Bangkok skytrain went viral solely because of the “disparity” on how they look together. Seems like the sight of a biracial (and perfectly happy) couple was too much too digest for those bullies that unleashed a flood of mean spirited remarks on social media circles. Fortunately, an equal flood, or perhaps even bigger, of positive comments showed them that not all humans are like those trolls that cyber-bullied them. The couple, Noparuj Kaendi and Thorsten Mid, expressed their surprise and gratitude for the support they got.

“Thorsten and I, unexpectedly, are so thankful and overwhelmed by the storm of your huge support. We never meant to try to be under the spotlight and all… But thank y’all anyway.” Noparuj Kaendi.

But the story didn’t end there! The former creative director of a Thai modeling agency and the model, who have been together for more than two years, got married this week in Germany and they shared the happy news on their respective IG accounts (@bemondce and @tmid9) From here we wish a long and happy marriage to the newlyweds! QC reader, what are your thoughts on this story? Have you and your partner ever experienced something similar to what happened to them? Tell us in the comments!
