“Unspeakable” Porn: Hunting Nazi War Criminals

We’ve heard of some far-fetched porno plots, but never this one. Tomorrow, OhMan! Studios begins shooting Unspeakable, a film about a Nazi war criminal hunter’s sexual romp with the grandson of the criminal he’s hunting.
Explains director Jett Blakk: “STONE, a hunter of Nazi war criminals who escaped WWII, finds his latest target in Los Angeles. He assumes a false identity to get access to the old man, who is sick and on his deathbed. His efforts are conflicted when he finds himself falling in love with the old man’s grandson, who has no idea about his grandfather’s past. The main conflict in Stone is this: should he be true to himself and fulfill his mission by bringing the old man to justice, which would shatter the grandson who believes in truth more than anything else, or should he turn a blind eye for the grandson’s sake, but in so doing, contradict his own beliefs AND his lover’s, since the grandson does not know Stone’s true identity and purpose?”
Will it even be possible to get aroused watching a film about a Nazi criminal? Call us cynics, but when we’re watching porn, we’d rather not be reminded of the Holocaust. This film will certainly draw controversy from all angles. In fact, one company has already refused to bankroll the film, forcing Blakk to find another financier.

I just read your article on UNSPEAKABLE, and I’d like to correct you on a couple of points: Channel 1 was my distributor, and it was they who said they wouldn’t release the film if I made it. They were not bankrolling it. Secondly, Ty Hudson is not playing the hunter, that role is played by Matt Majors with Cole Ryan as the grandson.
Here’s the great paradox of the porn producer: the majority of films made are all-sex films, and all we hear is how porn is terrible these days. It’s all the same. Why can’t someone do something different?
Then someone tries, and we get attacked for that, too. I don’t want the new stuff! Why can’t porn people just stick to doing what they were doing? So you see, we are fucked from both ends (and not in the manner that most of us would like to be).
I’m known for doing story porn, and I prefer it to all-sex. It’s more interesting for me, and I try to make it intereresting for the viewer. It’s not for everyone, but I understand that, and there are plenty of films for those who like all-sex.
It’s the cynicism that disappoints me. Encourage the industry to try new things, and applaud them when they do instead of shitswiping them before the movie is even made. No one says you have to like the end result, but geez, can’t people WAIT for the end result? But that’s the legacy of the armchair critic, I suppose. I could make a film about a guy from a small town who runs away to the big city and becomes a hustler…zzzzzzz….
Oh, and as far as WALK ON WATER, I have never seen the film, and the biggest shock of my life was when I was having lunch with fellow director Andrew Rosen, who after listening to me tell the story, told me it was almost identical to WALK ON WATER. I was crestfallen, but I was also determined that I would make my movie and let the comparisons be made. I liked my script and didn’t want to change it…so, any similarities between the two movies (and apparently, there are plenty), are purely coincidental.
