Hideaki Takizawa (滝沢秀明)

Hideaki Takizawa (滝沢秀明) (born March 29, 1982) joined Johnny & Associates in 1995 when he was at a tender age of 13 years old.
Johnny & Associates is famous for the male idols it churns out (it’s almost like a hit factory) and was created many years back by a man named Johnny Kitagawa. It’s a management company that accepts young boys after an audition, and then trains them in all performing areas such as singing, dancing, acting etc. These boys are dubbed “Johnny’s Juniors”.
The Juniors attend other Johnny’s groups as backdancers, and eventually work their way up to the top of Johnny’s, in the hopes of debuting into the music industry, and filling the shoes of their “Seniors”.
In 2002, when he reached 20 years old, Takizawa debuted with his best friend Tsubasa in the Japanese-pop group ‘Tackey and Tsubasa’ (タッキー&翼) under the record label Avex Trax.
That same year, Takizawa graduated from Johnny’s Junior. They have released many popular singles such as “True Heart” and “Venus”. He gained fame as an actor after starring in “News no Onna” and “Strawberry On The Shortcake”.
