After much ballyhoo, and controversy the Montreal Pride parade finally hit the streets of Montreal. Scheduled, canceled, and rescheduled this venerable Village tradition has been celebrated and reviled in the same sentence by residents.
Only after breaking away from the larger Divers/cite celebrations could this event even get off the ground. Still a gay man loves a parade!

In keeping with a 30 year tradition the quintessential Fire Island Disco Sip-n-Twirl honors every Drag Queen with Free Drinks. As ever, Sip-n-Twirl was packed to rafters with every Drag Queen from Cherry Grove as well as every hot man in The Pines. They were joined by the likes of the Famous Robin Byrd, the Infamous Porn Star Donnie Russo, and the Incomparable author and Television personality Michael Musto.

Hot House Exclusive Kent North [Official Website] has committed suicide. Hot House president Steven Scarborough confirmed that the U.K.-born star intentionally overdosed on drugs Wednesday morning.
Telling GAYVN.com they are “wrecked, just absolutely wrecked” over the July 4th suicide of their exclusive performer Kent North, Hot House president Steven Scarborough confirms that Mr. North “intentionally overdosed on drugs Wednesday morning.”
There are precious few details, as yet, offering some kind of illumination into Mr. North’s state of mind before he took his own life. News of the suicide has shocked and stunned the gay adult industry and fans alike. The Hot House statement reads, in part:
“We are all shocked and deeply saddened. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Kent’s friends and family, especially his lover Lloyd… In addition to being a consummate, award-winning performer, Kent and his lover Lloyd joined Hot House for several high-profile events every year including IML and the Folsom Street Fair. Kent often made appearances in his role as a Hot House Exclusive throughout Europe. He was always eager to pose for photos and extend his kindness to everyone who approached him. Kent loved his fans as much as they loved him and during events he was always the last model to finish signing.
“A graduate with honors from the Royal Naval Academy, Kent displayed gentlemanly grace and charm at all times. His well-mannered Engilsh demeanor was enhanced by a wicked sense of humor and a devilish grin. Kent’s warmth and genuine kindness will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.”

Wednesday as every 4th of July since 1976 Cherry Grove’s Drag Queens Invaded The Pines, right on schedule at 2pm. Toby was on hand for QueerClick to do some first hand reporting!
There was a huge turnout of both spectators at the harbor front and Drag Queens on their ferry, in fact their boat was almost tipping over as you will see in the pictures. Toby as usual got loved up, and the Mistress of Ceremonies, Panzi had “her” picture taken with Toby.
Here are some pictures of Toby and the 31st Annual Invasion Of The Pines. A report of the after party at “Sip-n-Twirl where some famous, or should we say “infamous” names showed up is soon to follow.

Here is a pic of Toby’s early start of the day, enjoying the Sundeck shortly after the boys arrived back in The Pines. That morning Toby hitched yet another ride into town with his housemate Guss, a 5-year-old Golden Retriever. They arrived back home with freshly baked chocolate croissants to fortify everyone cos they were about to experience an invasion! The Grove Invades the Pines with Hundreds of Drag Queens!! And our furry wonderpooch was there to cover the event! Reports and photos coming right up. Woof!

Fire Island is affectionately described as “A Magical Little Sand Bar Off The Coast Of Reality”. That is so true, not just because it is less than 50 miles from Midtown Manhattan, or because there are no cars here and the only way on or off is by ferry. It is so magical because it is a place where beautiful sugar sand beaches and tall beach dunes meet forest, not just any forest, the type of forest that is imagined in fairy tales, like the enchanted forest.
This morning Toby and his Daddy look a walk along the sugar sand beach running through the waves of the turquoise Atlantic then went into the forest that is between The Pines and Cherry Grove (aka the Meat Rack). Here are some really cool pictures of their early morning adventure.

Listen up, Apple fanboys! We’d be standing in line at the Apple store ready to get our sticky hands on an iPhone, but we’re too busy sniffing out all the latest and greatest porn. Researchers at Northwestern University are studying whether the way you walk is an indication of your orientation. Student researcher David Sylva attaches bright red lights to various parts on people and videotapes them walking in the dark. He then shows the videos to others and asks them to guess the walker’s sexual orientation. The factors of clothing, hairstyles, and facial expressions are removed from bias since the walkers appear in the dark.
