I just finished Aiden Shaw’s latest: My Undoing: Love in the Thick of Sex, Drugs, Pornography, and Prostitution… and although it’s not definitely for everyone, nor is it an epic novel… it makes for some fine summer reading while at the beach. The autobiography reads like a glimpse into his private journal through Shaw’s work, friends, addictions and roadside accident. While you won’t find scandalous details about the porn industry, you will see a pretty interesting glimpse into this man’s brain — as not only a porn star, but a musician, poet, artist and human being. Check out more at Aiden Shaw’s Website… the book is available at most bookstores.

(Via JustJared which is all over the news! Congrats!)
The currently popular dance song “SOS” by Rhiana is a very heavy sampling of “Tainted Love” by an old Euro group named Soft Cell.
Here’s a video of Soft Cell’s original “Tainted Love” featuring a hot young guy in his underwear.
(Thanks Marion Paige!)
If you haven’t heard of Lie With Me, you must have spent the last half-year in media exile. From its much-talked-about airings on Canada’s festival circuit to the distributor’s aggressive postering campaign, the latest from Canadian director Clement Virgo (Rude, Love Come Down) arrives amid a torrent of buzz. Buzz predicated almost exclusively on the film’s graphic sex.

Danny was born in Canning Town, East London on 24th July 1977. He had a fairly typical East End upbringing, and would probably never have entered acting if he hadn’t been spotted at his local Sunday School, by an agent who auditioned him for the part of Martin Fletcher in the acclaimed Granada Television series Prime Suspect. At the age of 14 he was given the part and found himself working along side Helen Mirren.
Danny subsequently appeared in a variety of television prductions including Cadfael, A Touch of Frost and Loved Up. After a bit of a quiet spell he emerged in two notable preformances. Firstly as Alec in Central Television’s Thief Takers, and then twice as Gary Fox in Carlton’s award winning series Soldier Soldier.
TV, film and theatre work flooded in as Danny became one of the best and most recognised London actors in the country. Recently he has been seen in the Channel 4 drama Second Generation, directed by John Sen; Mel Smith’s film ‘High Heels And Low Lifes’ and his latest offering, the highly acclaimed ‘The Football Factory’, directed by Nick Love.
Danny is also a seasoned theatre actor, treading the boards in both London and New York in a number of high-profile productions, including Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land and Peter Gill’s Certain Young Men.
Here’s an outtake from his 2005 movie ‘The Business’.

Single eye-lidded wonder Wong Hei was born on July 27, 1967. He started out as a DJ at Commercial Radio on May 1, 1992, and has done everything from acting and hosting a weekly music show at TVB to putting out a few albums himself and directing some music videos.
Wong has been a popular actor at TVB since the mid-90s and has played almost every type of law enforcement and public protection agent there is, including firemen, customs officials, CID agents, and witness protection operatives. This is not to say that he’s played it safe with his career. Wong has logged daring performances in films like Mad Stylist (1997), where he played a bullied hairstylist turned serial killer, and The Accident (1999) in which he displayed remarkable chemistry with Ben Ng in his role as a gay mainland hustler. Wong was also nominated for a Golden Bauhinia Best Supporting Actor Award for his portrayal of a nihilistic triad youth in the Christian movie The Boss Up There (1999).
In 2000, Wong went au naturel for a pictorial book, “Access Wong Hei”, the proceeds of which were donated to charity. “Access” has been ranked favorably against other male pictorials and has been particularly popular among gay communities across Asia. Wong’s popularity among this demographic has even eclipsed that of perennial favorites Simon Yam and Elvis Tsui. The HK media, of course, jumped on this line of discussion and have circulated various rumours and speculations in relation to Wong’s sexual orientation. But those looking for public confirmation or denial by him are in for a long wait.
Despite often exhibiting a chatty and verbose persona both on and offscreen, Wong has been notoriously private and fiercely protective over his personal life, refusing to allow it to be exploited for entertainment purposes. However, he has openly revealed the fact that he is a cat lover.
