April Fools! Jake Cruise Media Buys QueerClick, Launches QC Daddies
About four months ago, Jake Cruise approached QueerClick about jointly launching a new site showcasing hot daddies, an area he knows well. In negotiations, it became apparent that Mr. Cruise wanted more than collaboration and made a friendly offer to buy all of QueerClick. We couldn't pass up an opportunity to become part of the Jake Cruise Media family and quickly accepted his offer.
Today, we not only announce the new ownership of QueerClick, but also launch the first fruits of this new venture -- QC Daddies. Head on over to the new blog for more news and lots of mature, hairy goodness!
UPDATE: April Fools! Even though Mr. Cruise himself was in on the joke, he has not purchased QueerClick. We aren't launching QC Daddies (even though a number of you loved it!) and our new 81-year-old editor Milton Longbottom is entirely fake.

I've been visiting your site for quite some time now and it seems like you've always tried to provide what your viewers want. However now it just seems that your viewers don't matter and its all about money, money, money. This is a very unwise move for you QC and I hope for your sake that nothing changes. I've seen it before when other porn sites prohibit even speaking the name of another studio.

Business is Business, I am afraid. I work in the media industry, just yesterday, CBS laid off a pile of people in their local operations. Small Businesses have to form alliances or merge to stay alive these days in this climate. Jake Cruise doesn't do much for me, but he must do something for somebody considering the sites he runs and the money he makes. He found a way to get to play with hot young studs and get paid for doing it, in a legal way--you have to admire that. I checked out QC Daddies and it scared me to death, so I will keep an eye on QC for awhile, see what changes and go from there.

Comments are censored when it comes to Jake Cruise postings, especially concerning the activities he participates in, and his actions are always supported. I personally find it funny that you would attempt an April Fool's joke using him, because you KNOW that your audience is less than happy with the postings of him, and quite honestly a little disgusted. I'm surprised you don't keep your target audience's feelings and wants in mind when considering what to post each day...
