This is ridiculous. "Looking after yourself" is NOT going to the gym 4 times a week and eating salads every day. According to this idea, the people in the worst situation are not those who are, for example, fat like Stan. This is reserved for those who are not apolinean and yet very uncommon (for example: skinny guys). Skinny, scrawny guys face the worst rejection here on QC (as they are just 4.5% of the population).

Here is my take on smoking: If I have sex with a chubby guy it doesn't make me gain weight, but if I go at it with a smoker I come away smelling like smoke. If the guy is a heavy smoker he starts to taste nasty (tell me that is my imagination). Heck, even spending non-sex time with smoking friends leaves the smell in my car and on my furniture. I have tried dating smokers, figuring I will just get used to it, but the smell gets more irritating not less. I have never lectured a smoker about the risks, nor nagged one to quit -- there is noting I can tell him that he doesn't already know. I just refuse to hop in the sack or swap spit with one.

He's not fat; he just isn't the typical anorexic model. No doctor in this country would call him fat nor is he probably overweight for this height. I've talked to a fair number of trainers, etc, who think they know about personal health and who are complete idiots on the subject. Look at his arms, legs, etc; all he has is what might be called a paunch.
