Gayhoopla’s Jesse Blum on E!
E! Network’s paradise version of Big Brother may have those all-seeing-eye cams but it is Gayhoopla that will take you to exclusive areas. Jesse Blum isn’t so secretive about his sexy webcam past, he even credited as an inspiration to join the Escape Club. I wonder what he has to escape from.
Theory 1: He has to escape the scary and intimidating place called the gym!
Born in central Wisconsin, Jesse played football and ran track. He was a country boy with not only perfect genetics but also a good heart, because of which he enrolled in nursing school. It was probably the 80 hour shifts that made him realize that a good heart just doesn’t cut it, money is the way to go. According to his ModelMayhem page, he is actually a bit greedy! “Do not waist your time asking me for personal albums or anything that will not be towards a publication. Also a minimum of $500 per look depending on assignment and what your plans with the images are.” I definitely see a huge earning potential.
Theory 2: He is a feminist and is against the idea of the male gaze.
The 28-year-old is just as lost in life as the rest of us. Beauty does not guarantee a contract of monthly paychecks. For a while Jesse lived on multiples of $5, $10.. $75, $100 tips.

On joining the Escape Club, Jesse explains, “Working different jobs as a Nursing assistant, personal trainer, and webcam model has me a bit lost in life. It took me a while to admit that I didn’t have everything planned out. Taking a chance right now with a new direction can’t hurt. Joining the Escape Club should give me a chance to figure out who I am and find a path in life. Most important I need to find motivation in life again. Motivation is huge for me and would be really meaningful to find. Finding that one job and getting a place I can call home would mean the world to me! ”
