After a legal dispute with a D.J. of the same name, The Wildbunch regrouped as Electric Six in 2001. This infectious single was released that same year as the first recording under Electric Six. They also re-recorded the song with Jack White on backing vocals in 2003. The song went on to be a hit in the U.K. reaching at #2 on the charts. The band’s first full-length album “Fire” was released in May 2003.
