Ernest (“Enchong”) Lorenzo Dee (born November 5, 1988) is a Filipino actor, model, and champion swimmer. He’s also one of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s 2006 Centerfold Bachelors. Enchong, also known as Enchong, is part of the Philippine national swim team and has participated in the SEA Games. He just competed at the 2006 Asian Games and is currently training for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He is also studying Sports Management at De La Salle University.
Called “Halimaw” by his teammates because of his powerful kick and speed, Enchong’s specialty is the butterfly stroke. Dee’s fastest time in the 100-meter butterfly is 56.5, which puts him at par with the world’s top 10.

Dee doesn’t grow his nails (to touch the wall literally by a nail’s breadth), or shave off his body hair like Phelps, who does it four times a year, right before his big competitions, to cut through water faster. He doesn’t have lucky trunks (he has 20, which he rotates in no particular order) or visualize every win the night before competition (he used to, when he was younger). He doesn’t even believe in luck; for him, it boils down to hard training every day.
18 year-old Enchong Dee, the younger brother of AJ Dee, has also appeared in the Bench Fever fashion show as well as various TV shows like Pilipinas Game K N B, Homeboy, Sharon and Let’s Go.. Since then, he’s now fast becoming a heartthrob as he enters showbiz.
