Porn Actor Daxx Reed Dies of Drug Overdose At 36

According to Unzipped blog 36-year-old gay porn actor, Daxx Reed, died of a drug overdose on Monday, October 19th. Reed starred in such fisting classics as Construction Zone 2: Working Man’s Hands, Crude, Butt Busters, and Fistpack 20 (subtitled Fist My Butt). JC Adams has more:

Notice of his death was first made on Facebook and other social-networking sites. Thursday afternoon, director and Raging Stallion Studios principal Chris Ward posted a brief remembrance of Reed to his official blog.

“It was with great sadness that I learned of the death of Daxx,” Ward said. “He had recently moved to San Francisco from Los Angeles. He was a very fine man.”

“We only worked with him a few times here at Raging Stallion, but I will remember each and every one of the hours I spent with him. Daxx, you will be missed.”

Reed, whose birth name was Marco Berry, shot roughly a dozen blue movies starting in 2003 and was known in the fetish/BDSM community and among porn consumers for his intense, energetic work in fisting, leather and other fetish titles.

Unzipped states says that Reed’s family have requested friends and fans of Reed send donations to Ohlhoff Recovery Program or the Pine Street Recovery Center. His family ended with these insightful and loving thoughts of Daxx:

Marc was an extremely talented artist and received awards at the Fort Worth Stock Show Art Competition as well as Mayfest and also Imagination Celebration. He was a gifted graphic artist and was admired by many in the field.

Marc was bi-polar and he suffered and struggled with drug addiction in the last years of his life. Though his was a very difficult journey he wanted to be free. During his periods of sobriety he never gave up trying to break the chains of addiction and was always trying to help others.

God loves Marc and now he is safely home with Him.
