When I first saw Jonathan Agassi in Lucas Entertainment’s “Men of Israel” I immediately was in awe of his body and his looks. Maybe it’s in his genes, his mother is a painter and is father a DJ in Berlin—and we’d definitely say Jonathan is a true artist and performer. Raised in Israel, Jonathan proudly says of it, “Tel Aviv is the center of my life and has been for my whole life… I believe that is one of the reasons that I am so open with my sexuality and with myself in general.” And growing up, everyone quickly learned he had a bit of a naughty side to him. Thanks for talking to QueerClick, Jonathan. I think I first saw you in Men of Israel, but was this actually your first porn movie?
Yeah, my first production ever was “Men of Israel” by Lucas Entertainment!
So, how did making movies for Lucas Entertainment happen?
I heard about Michael Lucas before I actually met him. He was scouting for actors for “Men of Israel” and when I heard that he is coming to my homeland, I immediately contacted him. He came at the best time, because I was building a great desire to get into this industry!
And how has it gone so far, for these first few films?
The best thing about Lucas Entertainment is that you are given your own stage. Whenever you have the staff and Michael’s trust, you can do whatever you feel is right. To be able to be open and creative makes the whole experience a lot more fun!
Has your life changed much since making these films?
My life is totally different now. I am easily recognized in our gay scene here in Israel, which is not always a good thing, because in terms of dating people they expect you to be a porn star the whole time and that’s a hard thing to keep up to. But, I am very proud of what I do and I hope to keep on doing it for a long time.
And can I pry and ask what did you before making movies?
For most of my life, I worked in the fashion industry. I did some modeling, but I liked working behind the scenes… I guess I wasn’t ready yet to show off.
Do you enjoy watching your own scenes after they’re done?
I’m very critical of myself. I watch every one of my scenes and think of hot ways to make it even better the next time. A funny thing is that I force my two best friends to watch my scenes too, because it’s important for me to get an honest opinion.
And so based on their feedback, what scene are you most proud of (at least to date)?
Actually, my favorite scene as of now was from my latest movie “Piss Gods.” Martin Passoli and I really rocked it! He is so hot and we had the best chemistry ever.

What’s the hardest part of making a porn movie?
In the beginning, I actually had a hard time cumming. I was a bit shy so that was hard. But now I’m fine—just give me the mark and I’ll hit it! Hahahaha!
What was the biggest surprise that you maybe didn’t realize when you started making porn movies?
That I wouldn’t be fucking 24/7! I was surprised that it’s such a serious business and that you need to be very strict and disciplined. But, I do think it’s better this way. I wouldn’t do it otherwise.
What do you want to be doing in 5 years?
Easy! PORN!!!

You have been traveling a lot. Do you like to travel? What’s been your favorite place been so far?
I’ve never in my life been able to see so much as I see now and I love it! My new crush is Berlin! But I’m planning on going to the UK next and then on to Italy… Grrrrr, I LOVE Italians.
I love music myself and so I always like to ask people who are you listening to right now?
I love house music and lately, have fallen in love with techno and aggressive punk, but c’mon Rihanna and Beyonce will always stay in my heart. Hahaha!
What are your vices? Things you can’t resist, like a good slice of pizza always sounds good to me.
Actually you gave the perfect example!!! I love pizza—and McDonald’s! I know… I shouldn’t… but I can’t help myself.
McDonald’s is addictive! I am convinced of it. But I find that surprising, you’re in great shape. Now I’m curious, what other things would your fans be surprised to learn about you?
That I’m actually a bit shy and that I do not have sex all the time…although I wouldn’t mind.

Who is your hero?
Oprah! And I don’t have to say why… Right?
When’s the last time you laughed so hard you cried?
When I visited Berlin earlier this winter, I had to do laundry three days after I arrived. My father told me that you have to do white laundry in 90 degrees. So I did… and guess what? They became the size of white booty shorts. So no long underwear for me ’til the end of my trip—and it was fucking freezing in Berlin! You have to have long underwear because otherwise your balls would shrink! It was sooooo funny for me. I was on the floor dying when I pulled those tiny toddler-sized pants out that used to fit me.

If you could film a movie in any location in the world? Where would it be and why?
Absolutely in the Caribbean! Wooooof! Blue green sea… no clothes … warm sun… deep dark skin against skin. Mmmm, I just got a boner!
And who would you love to have a porn scene with… and I mean anyone?
If not from the industry, definitely Johnny Depp! Mmmmm, Do me like a pirate… arggh… ohh, by the way any connection to the Caribbean is completely by mistake.
Wow, you definitely like warmer climates! So, in general what kind of guy turns you on?
I’m very attractive to a big muscular guys that are a bit hairy with a dark skin and eyes!
