If you happen to be taking a walk on the streets of Portland while you are reading this, look up! An invasion of epic and plastic proportions have turned the city into the unexpected sextoy capital of America. Seems like an April fools’ day joke on July but it’s 100% real. News reports that hundreds of dildos have suddenly appeared on the power lines of the city and no one is taking responsibility for the puzzling event. Did someone take advantage of the Aneros sale that we promoted the other day and decided to share the goods with his entire city? Is this a guerrilla art project? Who is this dildo-Banksy and how can we thank him? Theories about the Dildo Invasion are abundant but no one seems to have a definitive answer, hypothesis go from blaming an unhappy worker and a factory screw-up to a store trying to make a viral happen. The news is so ridiculously funny that we’d love to know more about this so Portland, please keep throwing your collection of plastic phalluses like they are Christmas decorations, it makes us want to visit the city!
