Say Uncle Gives Back for Pride Month
The last few months have been hard for all of us, with the turmoil of the last few weeks against the backdrop of a global pandemic. The stark differences between the haves and the have nots have been revealed as Covid-19 brought our lives, and for most, their livelihoods to a standstill or worse.
June is Pride Month and for us that means a time to celebrate who we are, what we stand for, and wrap ourselves in the warm embrace of our collective community. This year will be decidedly muted as we social distance or march for a different cause. But in the midst of all of this we watch as the colors of our pride expand and that warm embrace welcomes in more and more to our tapestry of experiences.
Did you know your porn dollars can do good for our community? Say Uncle has partnered up with the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the #1 local LGBT nonprofit in the nation, to give back. Say Uncle is an award winning network known for its innovative productions that span a spectrum of niche interests.
The Los Angeles LGBT Center, founded in 1969, is staffed by almost 800 dedicated individuals, whose mission is to provide essential services for the LGBTQ community that span four broad categories: health, social services and housing, culture and education, and leadership and advocacy.
For Pride month, Say Uncle will donate a portion of your membership dollars to the Los Angeles LGBT Center. “Pride is an opportunity for us to remember the activists who came before us and to continue the fight against injustices queer people still face. During this pandemic, many members of our community are in urgent need, and we at SayUncle feel it is a privilege to lend our financial support to this organization dedicated to helping them,” said Mars, SayUncle’s CEO.
