We got a chance to queery Reese Rideout over the weekend! Reese is a true veteran in the industry, our introduction was early on with his work at JockButt (oh his butt!), Randy Blue and most recently with Men.com.
As an aside, boy do we miss Randy Blue. He’s a pleasure to chat with, his body and impish grin are quite sexy! He has a way of looking at you that makes you feel a certain something.

How did you get started in the industry?
I was a young age of 21 and I was spotted by a photographer from Washington while I was competing at a local bodybuilding show. He asked if I would consider underwear modeling. The money sounded great as I was looking for work at the time. I left my job as a personal trainer to pursue modeling. He told me he could get me on the cover of PlayGirl magazine. Years later, with RandyBlue, it happened. Playgirl cover. This is when I went down the slippery slope. I followed my acting dreams, making money and also having the opportunity to travel and meet amazing photographers.
What was your first scene like?
My first scene would have been in Washington, DC. It was Mighty Men with Jon Royce (I believe his name is). Low budget, interesting set and we gave each other blow jobs. That was my first time filming with a guy. I had started to film Straight Porn at the same time. Gay Porn paid the most and I was good at it.
Do you have a favorite scene that you’ve shot?
The ones that were like an actual Movie, like Alley Cats and That 70’s Gay Movie from Randy Blue. My favorite is when I’m like a real actor.
What was your lockdown/quarantine strategy for health and wellness?
Concentrate on my OnlyFans pages and Twitter since I haven’t been able to return to work for Men.com, so I’ve been hitting the gym 5 days a week, jogging the dog, trying to count calories and detox as much as possible and save the drinking for the weekends or celebrations. I’m trying to gain more muscle.
How has the last few months affected you sexually?

Edited properly or not, amateur or professional, they are frantically trying to make a living. Me, I have not filmed with Men.com since February. I am professional at what I do and I shoot shots that are in 4k and I know how to edit and I can’t see that being done with every porn star, this is why we need to get back to work! We need the pros editing for us and producing us.
Some say that the Covid pandemic will be the end of the traditional adult film industry, what’s your take on that and how do you see it evolving?
Well, It made other companies bigger like OnlyFans. Some companies have already found a way to begin filming, just MEN hasn’t begun yet. I think they are being more cautious than other companies and I am OK with that. I just hope to get back on set before December. I think Just being safe and testing the models both now for Covid and Std’s is majorly important now. As long as everyone is tested and following guidelines, then I don’t see it being the End. Just the beginning of a new way of filming.
We see that some studios are filming again. Can you talk a bit about testing and safety? How are you staying safe? Are you concerned?
I was tested once last month just to be safe and I HAD A REAL BAD GAG REFLEX!! I couldn’t talk for about three minutes. I’m out of practice giving Blow Jobs that I gagged on a long q-tip lol. Also, I always wear a mask when needed and I wash my hands and body. I am also very healthy.
Do you think homemade porn will overtake studio porn in the next few years?
I kind of answered this above. I I feel that OnlyFans and Just for Fans is going in that direction. The quality of phones is near the quality of the professional cameras and there are so many OF accounts out there. I do prefer the professional studio and flying to different places. I miss working with the crew though. Men.com needs to hurry up and open back up. They are basically the only company that can get me looking great and filming my duo scenes.
What’s a guilty pleasure of yours?
Studying supplements and learning new ways to live longer. A mentor of mine, once said he was going to “bench 200 pounds on his 200th birthday.” I’m going to do just that. Live to be 200 years old. Watch me.
Have you had trouble finding guys to film with?
I am in the works setting up a shoot with a Twitter Porn Star and also Pierce Paris. I, myself if not filming with a professional company on set have to find the model, have them fly to me and then we film with my amazing and expensive equipment. Also, I’d want to own the footage or work a deal on ownership so I can use the footage for my Twitter and OnlyFans pages and would pay the model as well.
What’s in your streaming queue?
Anything from Ryan Murphy, Little Monsters, America’s Got Talent, Schitt’s Creek, Dave, Shrill, Fresh Prince of Bel Aire and SNL. I watch Random stuff. Comedy is my favorite. I enjoy Horror films every once in a while.

Apart from filming adult scenes what other jobs have you done in or out of the industry?
My first job was working for a Car wash in High School. I worked for Walmart too. I was the fastest checker there. Then, I worked as a Stock boy for Coca-Cola, A T-mobile call Center, then a Personal Trainer. Then the rest is history. 🙂
So many of the public assume that people enter porn out of necessity or that they had no other choice to earn money. We know this is not true from interviewing other porn actors, so what was your journey that led you into the industry?
Mine was the hope of getting down to Hollywood and getting into the mainstream film industry to become the next Tom Cruise. But, Hollywood as it turns out is very hard and almost impossible to be seen as a serious actor once you’ve filmed a same sex film. I could film the best scenes and be voted the best Gay Porn Star of the Year, over and over again. However, agencies and producers cringe at the fact that a porn actor wants a job in an action film and won’t look at my headshots once they find out who I am. It’s really sad and not fair at all. We are all tested before filming and are humans too. This is why I have tried to produce and write my own full length films with my best friend Clyde with our WaterhouseDent film company. Crowdfunding my own films has been a challenge too.
Tell us about your modeling gigs.
I have shot with the great Mark Henderson lots of times and many other amazing photographers. Mark is my favorite photographer! If I could model every day I would!! I love staying fit for the camera and I love direction from professionals. I’ve been modeling for 19 years. I’d love to model for Andrew Christian, Kayne, ASOS, FashionNova and any other fashion/fitness industry that would take me. I’m ready!
Do You have a go to sexy toy?
