The House Manager in charge of Matt Heron understands perfectly what’s going on, and has given him quite a bit of leeway, too. However, enough was enough.
Most guys do the things they do, and use the things they use, as a crutch. What begins as a way to take the edge off after a long day soon becomes a habit, and before long it eats into the rest of their lives. As they become less productive, their self esteems go down and their crutches become more important. Thus, the spiral begins.
