From Twink Top: Becoming a coach has been utterly blissful. These days, the only anxiety I experience happens on the eve of a big game when I’m trying to strategize and work out if my boys are mentally and physically prepared! Fortunately, since I’ve taken over, we’ve been on an epic winning street. I’d love to take all the credit, but the boys have worked their butts off, and I couldn’t be more proud of them.
Young Tyler Tanner is very gifted, but he’d been underperforming for weeks. I was pretty sure he’d just gotten too much into his head and was overthinking everything, but I decided to call him into my office to see if there was anything we could do to help him push through the mental block he’d built for himself. I could tell he was a little anxious, so I got him lying on the couch with his eyes closed so I could help to regulate his breathing. The sight of him lying there was, of course, fairly pleasing. He’s such a beautiful boy: lean, pale-skinned, handsome. And it was a good thing he had his eyes shut, because I was already tenting like crazy in my tight shorts.
