Here is this weeks topic: Mr. G. W. Bush The Prez.
I despise the fact that every time I see him on TV he tries to be funny and comedic with that stupid little laugh of his. It absolutely makes my ears bleed. There is NOTHING funny about his reign.

Feelin’ Good Party at MOS Singapore Cancelled

Feelin’ Good Party at MOS Singapore Cancelled
Feelin’ Good, a party organised by gay and lesbian media and events company Fridae, has been cancelled after the venue, Ministry of Sound, received a telephone call from local police on Friday evening demanding that they cease venue provision for the event, failing which enforcement officers would come to the club on Sunday to shut the party down. The reason given by the police to Mr. Lee over the telephone was that the party would “promote gay activities.” More.

Your 10 Minutes of Fame on YouTube

Just thought we’d mention that YouTube is now enforcing a 10 minutes or less cutoff for clips uploaded to their servers.
According to YouTube, 99% of the uploaded videos are already less than 10 minutes long. This move shouldn’t affect most users as there was previously already a 100MB file limit for uploads. They did some analysis of the videos over 10 minutes in length, and we found that there’s a majority of them were full length, copyrighted videos from tv shows and movies. There are however also legit content creators with videos over 10 mins such as amateur film makers.

BryanBoy

Bryan Boy
This is BryanBoy – Materialistic. Shallow. Superficial.
BryanBoy keeps an ab fab blog which originally started as a mini travel journal for his chums (and frenemies!) back in October 2004. Since then, it’s metamorphed into one giganormous narcissistic shrine dedicated to his glorious, pretentious, third-world, nouveaux-riche, parrot self (we’re just quoting him and not being mean, ok?).
An advocate for excess (check out his endless parade of Vuittons, Diors, and Fuccis), Bryan champions debauchery and hedonism. If Paris Hilton was Asian and twinky, he’d be BryanBoy.
BryanBoy also runs InsideMyHandbag.com – a site he started ‘cos one’s handbag can tell more about a person than any mum can!
Tell Bryan you love him. Baboosh!
p/s: Bobby Trendy, be afraid. Be very afraid.
(Thanks T!)

GLBT News From Around The World…

Each week, QC will be bringing you GLBT News from around the world. At QC, we strive to bring you the best in adult sites, pictures, and gayness. So now we are adding some news to help keep you informed of what’s going on in our world. This saves you the long searches of finding what is going on right now and the top headlines that effect our community. Please feel free to discuss the articles and or offer opinions or your views. QC is always interested in what you think and have to say. I was asked to start adding some commentary to each news item. I have done so with each as a “My Take On It.”
AIDS Drugs Show Promise at Prevention
ATLANTA – Twenty-five years after the first AIDS cases jolted the world, scientists think they soon may have a pill that people could take to keep from getting the virus that causes the global killer. “This is the first thing I’ve seen at this point that I think really could have a prevention impact,” said Thomas Folks, a federal scientist since the earliest days of AIDS. “If it works, it could be distributed quickly and could blunt the epidemic.”
Condoms and counseling alone have not been enough — HIV spreads to 10 people every minute, 5 million every year. A vaccine remains the best hope but none is in sight.

My Take on it: Ok, unsafe sex may be increased by this, but IF we can have a pill that prevents AIDS, then why do we need to even discuss it? Unsafe sex would go back to the days pre-AIDS when all one had to worry about was STD’s and pregnancy. Come on, this is a no-brainer. Unsafe sex still happens and sex should be enjoyable not carry a deadly bullet.

“God doesn’t reject people. Neither do we.”
The UCC has a brilliant new ad set to start airing nationally on April 3rd. The ad features various “unwanted” people , single mother, gay couple, ethnic minority, handicapped, and homeless being ejected from an intolerant congregation and features the tagline “God doesn’t reject people. Neither do we.”

My Take on it: Bravo, great ad. Maybe the rest will get the picture soon enough.

Asheville minister resigns ordination over homosexual unions
“As a United Methodist Minister, I am prohibited from ceremonially blessing the love of any gay couple. So, with a sad heart and after a long talk with my bishop, Deb Kiesey, I have decided that I can no longer operate as a minister under the banner of an institution which so blatantly discriminates against the love of 10-20 percent of the world’s population. I will resign my ordination papers and continue to serve as Minister of Ritual for the JUBILEE! Community. This decision will not affect my legal ability to officiate at marriages, baptisms or any other ecclesiastical functions.”

My Take on it: Thankfully those who hold influence are being to rise and stand up for what is right and what is truth in Christianity. Times are changing and we deserve to be treated equally.

Iraq hostage’s family kept homosexuality secret
Fears that Iraqi captors might harm a Canadian hostage if they knew he was gay forced his partner to remain silent as loved ones called for an end to the ordeal, a director from the freed hostage’s aid group said Monday.

My Take on it: Very smart thinking. Had they known I don’t think he would have survived.

‘Quarter of young gay men in Northern Ireland have attempted suicide’
A quarter had attempted suicide; over two thirds thought about taking their own lives while four out of five who had suicidal thoughts indicated they were related to same sex attraction.

My Take on it: This is completely unacceptable. Our most valuable treasure in our lives is our youth and children. Being children and especially teenagers is hard enough without dealing with sexuality that is shamed, taunted, feared and brutalized. Adults hold the key and answers to change in the mental health of our youth. If we don’t do it we’ll lose them.

Some Gay Couples Adopt to Molest, State Rep Says
Rep. Debra Maggart, R-Hendersonville, said she still believes homosexual couples should not be allowed to adopt children. In fact, in addition to e-mail correspondence with a master’s student at Vanderbilt publicized recently, in which she said as much, she has also said homosexual couples may molest the children they adopt.

My Take on it: Debra, with all due respect, you have a BA in Advertising so maybe you should stick to your area of expertise such as making yourself look more worthy than you actually are. I think Hallmark is hiring. Until you have an ounce of formal-graduate education and can do proper research and analysis in the area of Human Resources, Psychiatry, Physiology, Sociology, Psychology and or Counseling, zip it. Your bullshit doesn’t fly with me. I have met more intelligent baggers at Wal-Mart.

Romney Seeks Narrow Gay-Adoption Exemption
Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has asked his staff to draft a “very narrow” bill that would let Catholic Charities provide adoption services without serving gay couples. The governor acknowledged that same-sex couples have a legitimate interest in adopting children, but he said the services Catholic Charities provides are more important than maintaining a faith-blind law.

My Take on it: Does this law also remove children of divorce? Children of single parentage? Does this bill prevent children being adopted by single heterosexual women or men? IF this religion is so zealous then maybe they need to focus more on the ramifications of ordained molestation and less on preventing children from receiving homes from people who just want to love them. I think the state needs to take control over this entire adoption mess and relieve this bigoted religion.

Follow Up: Newsom Snubs Vatican Over Gay Adoption Stance
(San Francisco, California) San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom has cancelled a trip to Rome for the installation of the city’s former Archbishop as a cardinal reportedly after learning the Church is considering a ban on gay adoption in San Francisco.
Pakistani society looks other way as gay men party
A ban on kite-flying failed to dampen the spirits of party-goers in Lahore at the weekend, where hundreds of parties took place to celebrate the age-old Basant festival. But one gathering stood out.
Under a starry sky filled with fireworks, about 150 gay men clambered to the roof of an apartment building for an exuberant party. Bollywood music spilled into the streets as dress-wearing men twisted and whirled flamboyantly.

My take on it: Courage is truth. Change comes from courage to tell the truth. I admire courage like this. To be subjected to life in prison for a difference. Amazing courage.

First US husband-husband transplant pair doing well
The recipient of what is apparently the United States’ first husband-to-husband organ transplant is recovering nicely in Massachusetts, the Boston Herald reports. On Valentine’s Day, Bill Mokeler of Malden, Massachusetts, donated his kidney to his husband of two years, Paul Sagon, liberating him from the dialysis machines on which Sagon had relied since 1998.

My Take on it: Wow, love is beautiful. Yet they say God ignores us. I am here to say he lifts us up. Love is love in the eyes of the almighty.

Gay pair beaten up
GAY-BASH thugs beat a man unconscious and battered his boyfriend in a vicious homophobic attack. It is understood the pair tried to fight back in self-defence, but were overpowered by the group of between three and six thugs.
“Abuse and violence directed at the gay community, or any other community, will not be tolerated.”

My Take on it: It’s hard to find justice in this. I can only hope these attackers are caught and punished severely.

Prof. wants gay sperm donors labeled
WELLINGTON, New Zealand, March 13 (UPI) — Gay rights activists are outraged by a New Zealand professor who says sperm bank recipients should be warned about a possible “gay gene.” Canterbury University associate professor of genetics Frank Sin told The Wellington Dominion Post that it was “not daydreaming” to suggest that sexual orientation could be inherited.

My Take on it: Ok, but are you labeling for male pattern baldness, anatomical, biochemical, and physiological, and behavioral characteristics? Idiot.

Gay isn’t normal, no matter who says
Your voice: Dr. Daniel W. Nebert
I agree with Peter Bronson’s assessment of “The slippery slopes of Brokeback Mountain” (Feb. 26), echoed by Charles Krauthammer’s thoughts regarding another movie (“‘Syriana’ reeks with betrayal,” March 3). This is simply more of Hollywood’s agenda to push the secular-progressive movement: “Let’s give that movie Oscar nominations in many categories, just to make a political point.”
Genetically and evolutionarily speaking, homosexuality is not normal – no matter how Hollywood and other secular progressives wish to spin it.

My Take on it: Hey Dr. Nebert, how about you go head to head with me on this topic? I am calling you out. Not every reader accepts the bullshit thrown out simply because you have a title. I’ll show you where to shove your fucking fruit fly! I suggest you get your head out of the lab and your ass and step into the real world. Throughout your entire piece you contradict yourself and your “so called” hypothesis.
Example:
Specific chromosomal regions have been associated with the human “gay” phenotype, but no gene has been identified with certainty.
Example 2: As with any other biological defect, the risk of homosexuality reflects the combination of multiple mutated genes plus environmental factors.
How does a gene identify environmental factors?
Example 3: In the case of human homosexuality, “the environment” is likely to be an imbalance of sex steroid levels at some critical point during pregnancy, affecting the fetal brain, most likely in the third trimester.
Your entire statement is bullshit because you state “is likely” which means I have no idea, no proof and I’m spewing my personal opinion.
Here is my opinion, you are a moron.

God Knows Gay Rights Don’t Equal Civil Rights
Her Contact Can Be Found By Going Here:
http://lashawnbarber.com I wont directly link since she doesn’t want “gays” giving her their opinion.
An organization called Soulforce has formed a group to go on a 51-day tour of Christian and military colleges that oppose homosexual behavior. Members of the so-called Equality Rides travel to schools to “present a powerful case for GLBT equality.” For you virtual virgins, GLBT stands for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered. “Transgendered” is a euphemism for a man in a dress.
Here’s what homosexuals can’t seem to grasp: Christians are opposed to the homosexual lifestyle not because we’re ignorant; we oppose it because God does. Exposure to the homosexual lifestyle or listening to “equality” sermons won’t negate or erase the word of God, no matter how many ways you serve it up.

My Take on it: Ok girl lets gets something straight. I am a Christian and a homosexual, if you have issue with that I suggest you consult Jesus and tell him you want me thrown out of the group, because he is still backing me. Secondly, if you are going to use terms you are not familiar with such as “transgender,” I suggest you look them up. Thirdly, let it be known, as Jerry is already aware of, that he paid for my full scholarship through Liberty University, both graduate and undergraduate. You see La Shawn, God does work in miraculous ways including having a man who proclaims to hate us cause empowerment through his hatred. Lastly, I suggest you get a spell check for your computer as your 3rd grade spelling is atrocious. You know calling yourself a writer does not make it so. Bigoted you are, ignorant you are and most importantly, you are being hypocritical with God’s word. So I pose this diatribe for you to prove how selective scripture can be used against anyone including yourself:
“When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Leviticus 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanness (Leviticus 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
Leviticus 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can’t I own Canadians?
I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?
A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Leviticus 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don’t agree. Can you settle this?
Leviticus 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?
Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Leviticus 19:27. How should they die?
I know from Leviticus 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
My co-worker practices the Wiccan religion. Since Exodus 22:18 states that he must be put to death, am I morally obligated to kill him as well?
My uncle has a farm. He violates Leviticus 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them (Leviticus 24:10-16)? Couldn’t we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws (Leviticus 20:14)?
I read that Amnesty International is in Thailand protesting the selling of underaged girls into slavery and prostitution. Should I write my congressmen and request that we encourage these young girls to obey their masters as it states in Ephesians 6:5?
I need to do some business on the island of Crete soon but Titus 1:12 states that people from the island of Crete are liars and lazy. Should I be careful when doing business there?
At the church I attend, some women lead a Bible study. What is the best way to tell them to shut up? We must not have women speaking in church when 1 Timothy 2:12 forbids them to.
Many of the women in our church wear jewelry. Since women are forbidden to wear jewelry (1 Peter 3:3) what is the best way to tell them they are going to hell?
I want to obey 2 Thessalonians 1:26 and greet all the women at our church with a kiss. Why do I get strange looks from them when I do – especially from their husbands?
Recently, I have asked several women in my church to marry me since it is permissible for a man to have many wives (1 Kings 11:3). Why do I continually get rejected? People at church are beginning to talk.
I suppose I will not get married since the Bible states that men ought not marry (1 Corinthians 7:1). What do you suggest?
There are many unbelievers where I work and because we are forbidden to associate with them (1 Corinthians 4:11), I am wondering how best to tell them to keep away from me.
Should I have the foreskin of my penis cut off? Exodus 12:48 commands that all men must do this. I would have my doctor do it but I think I can save some money by doing it myself. Any ideas on how best to do it?
In the case of a circumcised baby who has lost his entire penis due to a botched circumcision, who has ended up having transgender sexual surgery performed upon him, who has subsequently been given female hormones and raised as a girl, who has no idea what has happened to him and who grows up with an innate confusion about his true identity, who is never told about what originally happened to him, who is most often quite odd-looking in appearance (essentially like the character “Pat” played by Julia Sweeney of Saturday Night Live television fame; what is described as a “butch” female by some people), who is often ostracized and continually insulted and taunted by society for his appearance; such a person, when he participates in what appears to be heterosexual sex, that must mean that he is really participating in homosexual sex instead, and thus, should he be treated as a homosexual and condemned to hell also, or should we give him just a little leverage in the matter, since, after all, his parents were really trying to live by God’s law?
