We’re excited to announce that we are moving our offices to Australia!! All of are boxes are packed and it’s off to the Southern Hemisphere. CRISIS!! Our first GWiP Instagram account got deleted by the IG moderators – apparently, covering up private bits with banana stickers are considered too risque even though we felt we adhered to their terms. There wasn’t any warning at all before the removal, so overnight our 5000 followers vanished!
But fret not, we lost no time in setting up a new account and look forward to reconnecting with all our previous followers. We’ll be careful about staying within their publishing terms, but that doesn’t mean the contents will be any less hot! In fact, it’s gonna get even hotter.

As the year comes to a close, it seems we all like to look back and reflect on the moments that contributed to 2013. And QueerClick is no different. In fact, we really love taking a look back at what you our fans—the heart and soul of Queerclick—clicked on the most or what you commented most on.

We saw a post on Towleroad about a pro-equality Facebook Fan Page Have a Gay Day being blocked and told they violated the Facebook Community Standards. Here’s the kicker: The photograph posted wasn’t pornographic, it wasn’t explicit, it’s actually quite hard to determine what specifically in Facebook standards it violated. It was a close-up of two men kissing and it specifically was addressing equality and what’s considered offensive.
