The “priesthood stretcher” was something Colton Fox had heard about. The boys refer to it that way. Although the Masters had warned him from discussing the rites, they are aware that the boys will discuss it. But keeping them under oath maintains part of the mystery. It’s not something that is discussed in passing. After lights out, it’s something that’s only discussed “just between the two of us.”
The surrealness of the place seems to be growing every minute. Colton Fox is tossed another huge curve ball just as he believes he’s starting to grasp what’s happening. He finally got to call himself a true apprentice, as it was his initiation.
