Twink – A Definition

Twink. It’s a noun, it’s a lifestyle, it’s an adjective, it’s a perjorative, what exactly is a twink?
Aaron’s Gay Dictionary defines a twink as:
1. a young man in his early twenties
2: someone under 21.
3. A young, sexually attractive person, who is sexually desirable for their handsome looks and build and not for his intelligence.
4. a homosexual; that is a social outcast.
5: a gay in his twenties or younger, that acts like he has no brain. The type that all the blonde jokes come from.
Wikipedia defines a twink as:
Twink is a gay slang term describing an attractive young or young-looking gay man (usually in his late teens or early twenties) with a slender build and little or no body hair. In some societies the term “chick” or “chicken” is preferred.[2] Originally, the term referred exclusively to blonds, but among gay people the term has become increasingly inclusive to refer to other young men whose physical features match those principally described above, but are not blond or even Caucasian.
The term can be used in a derogatory and pejorative manner, implying shallowness and lack of intellect. In some cases it is a neutral descriptive term and in others it is a badge of honor and can be contrasted with the jocks and the bears. Closely related is boi, although this generally represents a more feminine look.
The term twink is often modifed by various descriptors such as butch twink, femme twink, Euro twink, or muscle twink.
