It's on old trick, meant to make the sleeper pee.

Supposedly putting the hand of someone that is asleep in warm or hot water will cause them to "wet themselves" or so I've heard.

REASON?
Quite simple, HUMAN REFLEX. To make him piss.

In theory, putting someone's hand in warm water while they're asleep is supposed to make them urinate. No idea if it really works.

I've heard that putting someone's hand in warm water whilst they're asleep makes them pee...don't know if it's true or not as I've yet to try it out

The hand was placed into warm water because doing so, will make a drunk person wet his pants.

The hand in water makes you want to piss more readily

Back in boarding school, we used to immerse hands in cold water to make the guy pee. It makes the body cold and the pee just comes streaming out.

Good point revox, but it looks to me that the comments all came in a 5 hr period, perhaps the guys at QC needed some sleep? To Jason, if you read the two posts above yours you will see the explanation - anyway even if QC had instant commenting on there is nothing to stop 50 or more people having the same thought and typing it in at the same time - Im sure QC gets at least 50 visitors each minute during the day right?
