New QueerClique Feature: Instant/Private Messaging!

Hey guys, many of you had sent in requests for more interactive tools, so we're pleased to announce that we've introduced a couple of new features to QueerClique.

Now, not only will you be able to see whoever's logged into the network in real time, you can send Private/Instant Messages to one another! It's easy. All you have to do is to click the avatar of the person you'd like to message, and a little window will pop up for you to enter your text. Once you're done, just send it off, and the recipient will have the message delivered to his browser instantaneously! To reply any incoming message, just hit reply and key in your text.

If you have many messages coming, don't worry, the windows will all line up nicely in chronological order on the extreme right hand side of your browser.

Also, you may want to enable the "Sound Notification" function so you get a little soothing tinkle when you get an incoming IM. Useful for when you like to open many tabs in your browser. To bring up the My Settings window, just click on your own avatar.

What if you don't want to be disturbed? All you have to do is to tick the "Ignore All Messages" box under your settings, and you'll see a little red dot on your avatar. That indicates you're not available for messaging.

Finally, a small addition which you can find under the left column of each individual member's page - you can now see when was the last time someone logged into the network. Great for identifying active members from the sleepy ones.

Enjoy the new features, and let us know how you like them. Keep your feedback, blog posts, visual and audio contributions coming in!
