Musical Monday: Touch Me
What better song for a gay porn blog on World AIDS Day than Spring Awakening's "Touch Me"? OK, OK, OK... so they're discussing straight sex, but the song applies to gay sex as well. Especially with lyrics like this:
And that, oh , yeah, now that's heaven
Now that I like, God, that's so nice
Now lower down where the figs lie
At this point in the musical, the kids actually start getting laid. Of course, it doesn't all turn out so well, but it's just a reminder that one should take precautions. not having sex as a teenager in repressive late-nineteenth century Germany is a good start. Rosie starts creaming over the kids at 4:35, FYI. Not that she doesn't have good reason, you just might wanna turn your volume down is all.

One of my favorite Broadway experiences. I really like the staging for this show, because it looks like Jonathan and Jon Gallagher are singing to each other. What pretty, pretty boys.
that was cool. Thanks for that. If you dig this and like live stuff, search for "strike" and "spring awakening" on youtube. It's pretty awesome. They came out in support of the strike and sang in the cold winter air.
