What is Mom truly afraid of?

Hey Kids –
Hope everything is just going great with y’all. My dear friend, Shirley Q. Liquor sent me this photo today. She was all tore up behind it. She was carryin’ on about the snake. But to me the scariest thing in this picture is the priest! Wouldn’t you say so?

If you have ever had any dealings whatsoever with any kind of religious organization Betty Butterfield knows and has felt your pain, shame and regrets. As Betty always says, “Lord, please help me find a church.” She also says, “better living through chemistry”, but that’s another story.
Now could someone please tell me what a priest is doing with a snake – and why? Well, at least he’s not going after the altar boys.
